Well, R2 is DEFINITELY what my PS3's gonna be chewing up, but don't forget that CoD5 is multiplatform, AND riding in on the coattails of the insanely popular CoD4 - giving it a tremendous amount of leverage against R2, which of course will be played only by those with PS3's and therefore admittedly place R2 at a disadvantage to take the crown...unless of course, CoD5 turns out to be a major disappointment.

Yeah, it was the very first game I unwrapped and popped into my PS3 as well.
Great game indeed. I just hope they fixed the week-long load times with Round 4; those in the previous one were killing me!

Because I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. I've actually pre-paid for the game, and as a result of my personal (unfavorable) response to the demo, I decided that I'd redistribute my credit to another game when EB Games calls me to pick it up later this week.

Not sure if it would work, but that's the very first thing that came to my mind as well when they announced this feature.
I can't see how they would prevent that from happening...but maybe they don't care.
Personally, I'm keeping my RB copy. Partly because I'm just sentimental that way, but also because I want immediate access in case I decide to randomly delete/re-add songs.

As a matter of fact, I thought my RB guitar was broken because the strum bar was just so damn spongy, and didn't have the nice "click" feel to it, which I had become accustomed to with the Les Paul.
So I filed a warranty claim with EA, who sent me a replacement, which was just as awkwardly spongy as the original.
So I decided that my only alternative...

Believe it or not, you're the FIRST person I've heard who've had PS3 issues since launch.
Early on (almost two years ago now), I thought I was going to be one of those unfortunate people...kept getting an random "Can't read disc" error when trying to boot up a game, and would have to hard-reset the unit. But following a firmware update, the problem mysteriously disappeared.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I can't help but find it MORE, in your words - "stupid" - to ignore the fact that I quite simply and honestly didn't enjoy the demo and proceed to invest my hard-earned money and already-limited time into the game - only to HOPE that it's not as listless as the demo was.
