I think it would be between Sony and Nintendo. They both catered to the hardcore the most and still had room for some (somewhat) impressive casual stuff.
If Sony had more time in their conference to talk about Resistance 3, Insomniac's new game, TLG, Agent and Versus XIII, they would have taken this one home hands down, no questions asked.
Unfortunately, they didn't, so it's very very very close between the two. If you own both of those consoles, ...
Desperate would be hiding the price of your "futuristic" motion device until the competition announces theirs, and then trying to drown out the success of that competition's announcements by having a terrible circus event shown all over TV.
I agree. They showed games that people were expecting, which all looked very impressive and they included big surprises that popped up one after another.
The pricing for Move was OK. I'm sure Kinect will be just over that, even though they haven't even announced a price.
Some shockers included Gabe's attendance with Portal 2, the Coca-Cola deal, all those EA exclusivity deals, Twisted Metal GAMEPLAY! and Gran Turismo's release date.
...
.... Where the FUCK is my Last Guardian and Agent?!!!!
Oh well. GT5 date was my favorite. Both Sony and Nintendo had very strong showings today. Konami, you're next!
1. The second Portal was only announced for PC and 360. When asked if it would come, he never said yes.
2. Gabe Newell showed up.
3. Exclusive features on PS3.
No, he said that you'll be able to use Steam's features "only on PS3"
I have a Steam account, so it will be nice to use since my laptop is getting slow. Hopefully it works on PS3.
...... I think they may have just won E3.
Anyone here expected that?
EDIT: I'm not saying they won because they were able to grab Gabe. I never got Portal for PS3 (got it on PC), but it was definitely a big surprise. I wish they announced more Valve games, though.
Oh, and what's with all the exclusive content all of a sudden?!
Can you link please? G4 is taking forever to get up and running
Nintendo did exactly what I hoped they would do and that was show great hardcore/new/exclusive games.
Based on the announcements before E3 started, Sony looks to already have the hardcore/exclusive part down. What I'm excited to see is new exclusive ones, along with some surprises that I thought would have popped up at the Microsoft conference. Let's hope they do that!
Oh wow, that's fantastic! Resistance 3!!!
I want to see some of that Dead Space 2 gameplay that's supposed to show here, too. Just half an hour until show time!
Today has been great so far and I expect Sony and Konami to cap it off nicely. It looks like today will be the hardcore gamer's day, as some of you may have seen with Nintendo's conference. I was impressed to say the least.
But it does....
It's $350
In the first picture they have displayed, the new Xbox looked like it was warped or bent with a hammer or something. It doesn't look straight because of the weird kind of shape that they decided to use.

Nintendo's conference was most definitely their best this entire generation. They announced what people wanted and much more, including a solid list of upcoming 3DS games.
All he did was pick it up and it killed his disc? It looked as if he was going to stand it vertically.
Where the hell did everyone in the first page get the idea that he "violently shook" the console??
That's basically the 360's Gran Turismo HD, not Forza 4.
In all seriousness..... it's not gonna be hard to out-do the Microsoft conference at all.
All Nintendo really has to do is show what 3DS can do and show us a new Zelda and it's a sealed deal for them
All Sony has to do is show off all those exclusives and what PSN+ is capable of and it's in the bag.
Right off the bat, Sony revealed more big exclusives than Microsoft, and that was before it even started.
The ones t...
.... you must've not seen me say:
"there's no need to report every time PS3, Wii or 360 consoles are on top."
Read again. This time, slower.
I'm glad they reassured us that Resident Evil's going to get Move support.
