I'm preordering the CE. I'm gonna be playing this forever! I hope they have my actual car (year and all) so I can upgrade it in the game like I want to in real life.... which would take forever. haha

Damn.... I forgot XBL's price.

360:

$400 Kinect Bundle
$60 Game
$50 Annual XBL Sub.

$510 Total

If they weren't adding things that aren't needed for two of the consoles (or at least can be bought later on), and claiming free or cheap for the others. If they're adding 2 extra unnecessary controllers (because no one plays Wii with 4 players at once and most Kinect games don't even use more than 2), then:

Wii:

$150 Wii
Free Game (2)
$150 3 Wii-motes
$20 Nunchuck

$320 Total

PS3:

They wouldn't dare open up with an unknown game like Child of Eden. They go for the things that make them the most money first, which is why Black Ops was right there in the beginning.

It's also why most of the games shown during the conference for Kinect were "casual" games.

Money! om nomnomnomnomnomnomnom

Still, the games looks interesting.

That's definitely a lot more than people expected when it launched, and it's not counting people who went once and never again.

Well, then spend the extra $50 on another Move controller so it doesn't sound so stupid.

If you want to save money, that's how you can do it. If you want the "full" experience, you know what to do.

Yeah, they showed that a long time ago, but people forgot. The XMB can be controlled by the Move (or the Eye, I forgot which).

Yes! E3 will be earlier! I didn't like the timing this year too much. Last year's was perfect. And I hated when it was dated for July.

Definitely hyped for this one!

The archery game let's you use one.

Before the game starts, it asks you how many Move controllers you have and based on that, the game works around it.

Same with the Gladiator and volleyball ones.

What else could they possibly add to the next GT that wouldn't be available in this one?! They've done it all (and can keep adding with DLC cars, tracks, etc.)

Next up: Smell-o-vision TVs complete with wind vents that let you feel the wind in your hair as you race in GT6. haha, Sony, make that TV!

Actually, that's probably NeoGAF. haha

N4G is the internet critic HQ.

Yeah, Gabe Newell showing up was probably the biggest surprise of the show (other than Nintendo actually having a good conference) but what probably got the most applause and cheer was Kevin Butler's appearance.

A lot of live bloggers actually believed Tretton when he said Butler wouldn't show.

Basically what you need is the Move controller ($50) and an Eye ($40 or $30, I forgot how much they are now).

Sadly, it's true. They're biggest characters are older than high school and college graduates. They rely on ancient video game characters and while it still works for them, they should create someone that they can fall back on. Playing Mario and Zelda for the rest of the gaming industry's existence is not a sure thing.

Peter Moore worked wonders for the Microsoft press conferences back in the day. He is a great speaker and it's too bad they couldn't hold on to him. Luckily, he's still relevant by being with EA.
