Why would they say otherwise? Isn't that what Nintendo said right before the E3 2007 and 2008 conferences?
Anyway, I would hope they do have something "for everyone". It would be incredibly disappointing to watch two conferences-worth of casual-ness.
Do we ever know what Microsoft's going to show at E3? It's ALWAYS locked down. What strikes me is how MS being tight-lipped is potential to be a "totally awwsome show!11!!!" while Nintendo being tight-lipped is.... well... not even news, as you can tell.
1. I thought we already knew that PS3 exclusives normally score higher than 360 exclusives. It's not a matter of opinion. It's based on what has been gathered.
2. GTA IV is NOT the best/one of the best games according to Metacritic. Metacritic didn't give it a 98. That score was a gathered from the many reviews it recieved. Therefore, they AREN'T wrong, they just post the average. That's it.
I know how crowded and hectic expos and conventions can get. It's rough, but really exciting!
I think it's much more relaxing actually working there at the booth, although it's really exhausting. I hope I get to go to E3 in the future.
I'm pretty sure everyone is aware that Natal is going to be used to try to extend the life of the 360 as long as possible.
It's quite obvious you're getting annoyed with people's wishful thinking. It's as if they aren't entitled to think that something that hasn't been announced yet will actually happen and "steal" the show, in your eyes. You have just as much wishful thinking with your theory about a 360 Slim.
You really snapped with this comment, eh? You even go on about E3 2006 and all the memes from that year. All the bitching in the world won't stop the ...
I don't think I have a favorite moment. I'm usually always sold when they announce a game I want.
Yeah, looks like SKC's shift started.
@young: he called it "Lame", like always.
I wonder if developers will take advantage of that Move Camera view to make RTS games with the Move. It looks easier than using a DualShock.
Ask them to show you the CARFAX.
I bought an Xbox from a friend for very cheap and he failed to told me it was modded, so I got kicked off of Live. Needless to say, I was glad I bought it for so cheap. I was able to sell it to someone who wanted a modded Xbox.
If MS has thunder right now, I really haven't noticed. The four to five weeks leading up to E3 has been about Sony's announced exclusives. The only thing I've heard about Microsoft was Natal's price and the inclusion of terrible celebrities.
If Sony really wants to seal this year up, they would announced a PSP2, announce PS2 in the PS Store and have a rep go up on stage, say "$199" and walk off. That would be reminiscent of their first E3 15 years ag...
They're going to try to justify it by saying that it's basically four controllers and cool new tech.
The more I see the high prices, the more I'm expecting it. If it's not more than the WiFi adapter, I'm going to think it's absurd.
I wanna know what it would be like to walk like a normal person in a Resident Evil game, please!
RE5.... a 2008 game controlling like a PSOne title. I do like how I feel hopeless because of it, though. Makes for more heart-pumping moments.
Sony's 2006 conference was terrible. And the icing on the cake was the announced price tag. It was almost like they wanted to see if they could survive after having two flawless generations.
Nintendo's 2008 conference was bizarrely terrible, also. It was the only conference I've seen that genuinely looked like it was a Twlight Zone episode. The audience was so silent that I could almost feel the cringes.
Microsoft's 2009 conference was pretty ...
That's pre-orders, dummy! I'll admit, I noticed that before, too but quickly saw that it said pre-orders.
I'm starting to think Green is just an overly sarcastic PS3 fanboy.
Oh, and inb4 "hAhA, all teh ps3 fanboyz scared, trolling Natal price!!1!"
Is that the amount it's been rumored as?
Either way, that's a lot, even though it makes sense considering the prices for other un-entertaining add-ons they've released. I'm not counting it out yet, though. Maybe they'll bundle it with a game.
Knowing Microsoft's strategy, however....
Activision did good picking him over Soulja Boy....
Activision must really like Eminem. They used his song in MW2 ads, which actually helped Eminem afterwards, too.
Correction: You don't want the PS3 at $200.
There have been rumors, like with the 360, that a new internal hardware has shown up in reports. One of them includes the PS3.
Sony can keep upgrading the hardware chips and decreasing the price if they do what's been reported. A new chip can very well mean a $200 or $250 PS3. I know you don't want it to happen and it's really obvious because you dismiss that rumor despite the fact that it shares the...
