Not what people expected, and it was moreso the event that they pulled on Sunday that turned most off on the idea.

Star Wars still has a shot, but the video that they showed for it did more harm than good. Because they were working with pre-recorded stuff, they made it all seem so laggy and unresponsive... and, in some cases, ahead of your actions before you even begin them.

Yeah, I can't believe they even tried to have people act like it was the actual game. It would have been much better off with just the trailer and not the guy trying to mimic what's on screen.

I can do that, too. And I don't have to pay in the hundreds to do it...

I knew that when they first said that they'll have something for everyone. By everyone, they meant the "E For Everyone" style, which means anyways can play it, but it doesn't necessarily mean that everyone will care.

If they were, I don't think they would've bothered with the change in the first place.

Guessing he didn't like it....

I heard they didn't even let you go to the bathroom or drink anything at the event.

They tried to promote this event as something that would be airing live on all those channels and the Times Square screen, but it was leaked hours ago that it is, in fact, not live.

OR

Maybe this website thought it was supposed to be live when it's obviously not. And for anyone who thought it was going to be an entirely different conference (like I did), it's not. It's the same as the one Sunday night. And this whole time I thought they were going...

I gotta admit, that was pretty funny. He was smiling and talking before the event started and next thing you know, he's standing alone, looking around in confusion before he decides to leave.

I still have no idea what the ponchos were for.

Man, PSBlog is always giving away cool free stuff and now Kojima joins in? I want a Peace Walker PSP...

??

People expected this to get released in 2011 or something? I expected it to launch in October or November.

And to be fair, it says "Natal", which suggests that it really might be outdated. I predict a launch in October or November.

.... so then what was the point of having a 2 hour long (or 1:30, I forgot) conference about Kinect if you weren't going to show all the games for it? This whole time, I thought one conference about "Natal" was going to be about everything Natal-like, and the actual E3 one was going to be about hardcore titles.

I guess this one was more about getting attention (didn't mean that in a bad way, people, calm down).

It's super thick, but it's not that lengthy, which I guess is nice.

They should have just made it skinner but long so it can go on top of TVs. Kinect has a round-like base and I think it would definitely benefit from being longer instead. Perhaps it would have given it a bigger camera view.

Well, Pfister was from 1UP. He's with G4 now.

Needless to say, they're all journalists or people who can plug Kinect into the media outlets.

That's right, buddy. Keep your chin up.

I've only heard Cliffy say it was awesome, and he wasn't even talking about the event itself, he was talking about the potential for it in the future. Even he mentioned that everyone in the event "looked scared"....

As for the people on this list, they were pretty much all being sarcastic (some just being plain negative).

@DanRyckert: According to tweets I've seen, the Kinect event seems to involve: KKK members, magic smocks, floating couches, and people dancing on flowers.

An array of the most random things ever. Is this the thing that's supposed to air on all those channels? It sounds like a huge acid trip. I should've gone!

From a trademark that Microsoft bought a while ago.

It's a few tens away from a Wii at the moment.

Did they decide to start a graduation ceremony in there, too? Why are there so many people in gowns?

5849d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

I thought they would've thrown a hardcore game in there to steal some of that Sony commitment when they said they'll have things for the hardcore.

Instead, they did what I should've know they would do all along.

??

The ad makes it seem like they're turning you from real people pretending to drive a car to fake people pretending to drive a car.

I would've preferred "Wave", but whatever. I keep wanting to say it right without making it seem like I'm saying "connect".

I wonder if the two separate models are true. One being $120 and the other being $180 or $190 like rumored.

It's more than it should be, being over $100 and all, but it's about right considering the prices of other Xbox accessories.

EDIT: *sigh*, I keep saying Kinnet when I try to say Kinect because it doesn't look like "connect"....
