What it shows is that a heavily US site has about 2 to 1 ratio of 360 users vs PS3 users, which is about the install base.
A quick read through the kind of lame bleating of this site's fan boys plainly shows that owners of one console are hardly likely to have an objective opinion - so a poll on a website is hardly a decent appraisal...
Thing is - you don't even know what home is do you? Its not a game, and was never intended to be.
Its simply a bunch of communitty features wrapped up ina virtual world.
Lips is a game. Home isn't.
This was a great looking PSN offering - their may not be hundreds of titles, but theres really is some quality budget fun to be had, and this looks like being another to add to the list.
Really looking forward to this together with Pixel junk Eden and Flower..

Alan wake is vapour ware and made no differnece to this years show, except by its obvious omission. Ditto for Forza 3 and a new Bungie game. Not seeing these was a big disapointment to me.

RE 5 is great, yes, but its multiplatform.
You can nonly gain greater momentum for your platform by showing what makes your platfrom different to the others.
Ps3 owners can also play RE5, so though it was an interesting showing, it certainly didn't 'win any points'.

Sony were the only ones to bring some new exclusives out - and looked strong on all three platforms. Disapointing to not see the new Team Ico game though... but a pretty strong line up and strong announcements like the wealth of support for the video download service and some strong download content.
MS scored with its netflix announcement, the FF13 port and nice frontend revamp, but seriously - where are the new games?? Given as how two of the biggest titles for this year have...
I thought it was excellent and definately the pick of this years presentations - there was simply more content, presented better, than their two rivals.
Tons of great looking PSN titles. many oif which I had not seen before and was excited about.
The launch of the video store tonight with patnership from Warner, Fox, Lion's Gate, Disney, MGM and others was very impressive if you want to download movies... and brilliant meshing with psp for portable watching.

I'm sure its great if you only own one machine, but its a multi plat game not exclusive - and those of us with all the machines will likely still buy it on the one disc.
Its not like a new game for most of us - I want something new god damn it!!!:) I've an inkling they will announce a halo title tonight after the Sony conference though - as a spoiler tactic. They need to, as thers no new core game announcements at all..
Lets face it - those who've been dishing the dirt on Ps3 20 minute installs are going to get it thrown right back at them once they see a 45 minute install for this feature! :)
Of course its NOT maditory (it wouldn't work on all sku's), but you have to say, given how annoyingly loud the machine is - almost every gamer with a hard drive will take the 40 minutes just to stop that dmn wine! I knbow I will!

From a core gamers perspective - it was real let down.
No Forza 3 or Alan Wake or Halo game - no new franchises at all. Nice dash update, horrid Wii's and some great news if you like to download movies (but I don't).
The FF13 was a real head turner - but as an owner of all the machines that means nothing to me, I'm looking for 360 exclusive stuff.

Thought you might want to know - The Sony camera allows you to use it as a mic too - so I trashed my blu tooth headset once i had it. It also has noise cancelling built in - so you don't get your game sounds transmitted at the same time...
....so even the mic is not a new option for a console. :0

The huge upsurge of sales for the machine in Japan must be heartening for Sony. It shows that it sometimes takes a couple of years for a machine to be around before it is adopted in huge numbers, and I'd expect something similar to happen with PS3 sales in the future...
Most objective analysis suggests the failure rate dropped to about 10% for the elite machines. 9 out of ten elite owners will never suffer a glitch..
Just for another perspective on JRPG's for the system, I actually found Lost Odyssey to be tremendously tedious in the long run and stopped about half way through disc 3. The only JRPG I failed to complete in more than a decade, so approach with caution as its not to everyones tastes despite the sumptuous visual style.

Irrespective of how good it is to play, its becoming obvious that from a technical standpoint, this engine is head shoulders more acomplished than any other out there at the moment. Very tecdhnically impressive, particularly the lighting passes and material subtlties.
Really looking forward to getting my hands on this. With any luck, it ber a good game too! :)
