Maybe not - theres quite a transistion from FPS to RTS game, and not everyone who enjoys FPS titles will enjoy an RTS.
Having said that - I'm RTS fan and I'm really looking forward to this one - I just we had a confirmed release date - spring 2009 seems like a real long way away!
Its a resorce hog. Plain and simple.
With 32bit windows restricted to 4 gig memory, to lose 1 gig of that to an operating system thats bloated with features I'll never use, is a real kick in teeth.
I need all my RAM for working with. I run a lot of high end art, 3d and video packages, and vista runs then slower than any other OS. Thats when it runs it at all, and there are many it simply doesn't run properly at all.

People will download and play this game because it is fun and its visual style is excellent and looks great at the native 1080P res.

Portal is and was an excellent title and well deserved its praise.
I wasn't blown away by the lack of new titles shown by MS at E3, but the announcement of the Portal game on live was a real highlight for me. I had thought they announced it as an exclusive?
Well, if it comes to PS3 too, that can only be a good thing - its a real excellent title, and its format means it suits downloadable distribution very well.

Its a shame that this is for just a handful of titles as result of 'live for windows' failure.

I've not had a chance to play the PS3 version yet, but the 360 version has been released on the dodgy pirate scene today and I can never resist the urge to try something early! :)
This is a beautiful game and the combat is even more refined than it has been before. Yoda is kinda fun but jumps a lot and doesn't have any running moves - I'm looking forward to Vader in the Ps3 version.
