My reason is as follows:
1. I haven’t deiced to make the leap to BLU-RAY or HD-DVD
2. XBL right now offers everything I want in an online experience.
a. XBL Arcade great list of games I like to play.
b. IPTV is working and I haven’t had any problems with it.
c. Finding friends or games to join is easy, and there isn’t many lag or network down issues, voice chat is amazing and updated content for games is great especially for those games I love to play.

Leaving GTA right behind Mario for most sells. GT did make top 20 of all time, FFVII top 10. Halo or any MS game was not on the top 20 but according to the list it would have made 20 because it had around the same sales as Tomb Raider.

You guys may like those games and swear by them but no way did they sale the amount of units GTA III sold and Final Fantasy. I also don’t remember people turning out to get GT or GOW2 like they did Halo 2. Sorry but the numbers just aren't there.

My thought is what 1st party games has Sony developed that has had the impact of GTA or Final Fantasy? I would say Microsoft has come the closest with HALO in 1st party developed games. Not only that you can’t tell me that if Sony looses Final Fantasy as an exclusive it wouldn’t hurt them big time…

It’s like many of us have been saying before Christmas, the PS3 is going to continue to lose exclusives because they don’t have enough consoles sold. DMC3 sold about 1.4 million on the PS2 and the PS2 had sold over 60 million consoles. So now look at the PS3 it’s only sold around 1.5 million consoles. Correct me if I’m wrong but you generally have two types of exclusives a Timed Exclusive or an indefinite exclusive.

Timed Exclusive is when a game is released on a system for a certain amount of time before it can be released on other systems.
Example: GTA on PS2

Indefinite Exclusive is when a game will never go over to another system.
Example: Halo

LMFAO! I'm willing to bet only a small percent of those people have a PS3. It baffles me how brand loyal and blind some people are. It wasn’t like DMC4 was actually a console seller during the PS2 era.

Maybe if this was the PS2 vs the Xbox but you have got to be an Idiot to drop your 360 to pick up a system with fewer games. I don’t know about anyone else but I game for the moment meaning where ever the games are I’m there. I’m sorry but gaming for potential of games just doesn’t cut it for me.

I think you totally missed my point. I was only trying to state that generally in competition you don’t support the other team even if you’re wrong or your competitor is better because at the end of the day you are trying to sell your product. When you have a company as large as Sony and you let someone like this repeatedly makes a fool of himself while represent the company, makes you wonder if you can even trust the products they put out.

Name how many grade AAA titles Sony has produced themselves? GTA, Final Fantasy, MGS, God of War and countless others not produced by Sony. So if they have all these people how come they aren’t producing more games like these from there in-house developers? Goes to show quantity, does not equate to efficiency and quality.
