I can't believe people disagreed with you when the art is right next to each other. This screen shot looks no better than last generation. Look for yourself, doom 3 last gen on the xbox kicks the crap out of it.
Obviously if we can agree it’s a hole in the wall or a shadow then this means the graphics suck because in most of the next gen AAA titles you are going to be able to tell without question. It also goes to show how much of a lack of details there are. Go look at sigma crisp looking characters MGS4 excellent detail. Now this looks like some concept art rendered into game play. I should hope the game play looks like the trailer they hyped up so much.
If this is in game then LOL. It doesn’t look anywhere as detailed as the game clip they game us first time and said this is in game. The game trailer has much more detail, it looks like concepts art they used and the walls along with the guy aren’t that detailed. In the trailer they showed you could see all type of detail. If this is true in game my only hope is this is just a bad camera shot. Because I’ve seen games that look better already, Lair, GOW, MGS4 need I say more. This honestly loo...
Yea, but look how many are fooled into thinking it is actual killzone2. I'm waiting for something official, if this is killzone2 then the graphics still don't compare to GOW.
It's a blog not news. Get over yourself. This has only been written to be discussed to see what people think, not to diss Sony or any console but to kind of give a best guess at what could be going on in the minds of Sony execs. You don't have to agree just drop an educated comment.
I’m a bit shocked no mention of KillZone2.
Conclusion
The big question, of course, is whether the PS3 is £150 better than the Xbox 360. From a purely gaming perspective, the short answer is: no, not today. As with any new gaming system, you're going to have to wait at least a year before you see game developers begin to get the most out of the PS3, and right now, there isn't a game out there that's able to beat the best titles on the Xbox 360.
I would still fire the guy.
My fault and I saw that error; however there is no edit button on the blog like there is for comments. As for the harsh words trying to attack my creditability and writing skills; there is no need to try to put someone down especially when you aren’t perfect yourself. As for the quote you asked from a Sony executive, Yomiui Shimbun was the person that was interviewed.
“I think that the public would like the cost to be lower, there’s no question about that.”
And how much lower?...
You can still lose a marathon by running to slow.
QuackPot while I respect your argument I do not agree. There is no past trend data showing that the outcome of sales from Australia will be anything like North America or Europe.
Sony routinely leaves out sales of the we or that the 360 is only 300 units a week less and closing. This is just Sony trying to put a spin on the PS3 to make it seem like its dominating somewhere and it’s not. You would also expect the early adopters to have been saving for the PS3’s release there, s...
This is why Australia means absolutely nothing when you look the whole picture. It took them 13 weeks or 3 months and a week to sale 50,000 consoles; which breaks down to 15,384 sold a month. Sony sales about 50,000 consoles a month in Japan, Australia would have to sale close to that number a month to really make any difference. According to VGChartz the 360 has been closing the gap in weekly sales between the two consoles only down by 300 units this week. Honestly a lame article….
Sony runs into the same problem as 3rd party developers with there own develops and that problem is; if there aren’t enough consoles sold to cover the cost associated with development for games. It is also very hard for a game to gain sales after the first 3 months after release unless it’s an incredible game; most gamers sale back there games after they are done playing them which means no money for devs, not to mention that theses games are over shadowed by the next great game coming out ag...
This is very hypocritical of Sony being that they pioneered paying for exclusives with the PS1. Sony had many things they did to pay for exclusives like waving royalty fee, or just out right paying for exclusives. It’s funny that this time around Sony happens to be loosing so much as a company with BLU-RAY and CELL that they don’t have the money to secure 3rd party exclusives.
Sony is completely full of it
The other thing I want to address is the people saying that Sony ...
My roommate loved that game he beat it on all the setting. As for me I wasn’t impressed with the crappy Bruce Lee game.
About time.
Its ignorance, I don’t think it can be said better. However being a black man and hearing this type of thing from time to time, I just learned not to let it get to me.
Please go back and re-read the article about Australia Nintendo came out and debunked that whole thing. Japan doesn’t matter because Sony’s sales there aren’t enough to offset worldwide sales. They are lucky they are doing dissent in Japan otherwise Sony would be getting leveled.
Australia’s game market is so small it’s not even wroth mentioning, no better than saying in Kazastand the PS3 is taking the market. Surprise I’m even wasting my time posting this…
I agree. It's not like we didn't know the 360 was doing poorly in Japan.
I know what you mean I've pointed out duplicates or stories that come from fake sources or where the contributor tried to make a story off a chart they read incorrectly and somehow it still gets posted.
Wow, this is all they could come up with. They could have atleast bought someone from the apple design department to help out with the colors. Bungie should stick to games console design isn't going to make them any money at this rate.
