I honestly say get rid of the core. It really doesn’t have an advantage other than people just wanting to be cheap or not thinking. If you buy one of those memory cards they are like 30 bucks for 16mb so you should just pay for the premium version get the hard drive so you can save games and call it a day. Besides having a hard drive with more space helps devs give us games with better graphics and A.I.

Last generation we didn’t see high attach rates from the PS2 base for several reasons.
The first being that piracy and mod chips were all over and there wasn’t anything Sony could do to prevent this. It got to the point where there was no need to buy a PS2 game because you can get it Bootlegged for 3 bucks. The Sony Protection Group can you find a more bias source. It is a well known fact that the 360 has a better video card it's been stated so many times by people who know what they are talking about. Cell can render graphics but Sony realized it wasn't all that impressive at doing it that's why they added the RSX. While both have 512mb the PS3’s is split which anyone that knows hardware can tell you that’s a performance hit.

Very true, they are always saying wait for the future. At this rate we won't get anything until playstation 4 is here. Sony is also very good at taking good news and hyping it up. July sales don't mean much for Sony not less Sony can keep these sales up for at least until they catch up with the other two consoles. Next Sony kind of caused a fire sale by saying there is 100 dollar price cut but it's a limited amount of time.

I think it's a good thing. I've had my console for a year now and it hasn't broke but it's good to know if it does I can get it fixed.
The problem with the PS3 sales are that they aren't closing the gap between the 360 and it's self. While news of the price drop has increased sales significantly, Sony needs to keep this up and sale somewhere in the ball park of the Wii to catch the 360 lead.

That maybe true, but in this video GOW is practically in black and white. I play the game often and I can tell you there are definitely more colors than black white and a few shades of gray.

This is one of those things where they made news out of nothing. First Sony dropped the price of the PS3, it’s obvious this would spark a buying frenzy of consumers. This happen every time the price gets lowered for something. The only time this out selling the Xbox360 will be significant is if the PS3 continues to out sale the 360. The other thing to note if they want to be the 360 they are going to need to out sell the 360 by more than 10k. Stupid news only fanboys will get off on.

The Killzone2 team did a nice job and the game looks great even if it doesn’t match the CGI 100%. The thing I wonder about is, will it take all PS3 games 20 million to look this good?
