What show is that Microsoft have picked up all its old Xbox customers and are starting to cross over and get a few more. Remember Playstation has had 3 iterations to get the fan base.

Why should they, they are selling better than all other next gen consoles. I think most gamers for the Wii are so casual they haven’t hit the memory cap to have to start shuffling things around. Most of the retro games are still fun even if they don’t have original content to most people.

Solor – I’m not sure where you got your information that there is no money to be made in PC development. You name Blizzard as a company to ask about not making money. Blizzard has announced a new PC exclusive Starcraft 2 not only that but they have the most successful PC game going World of Warcraft. PC may not have the biggest crowd but it does hands down beat consoles at RTS, still the best place to play MMO’s, some will arguable say mouse and keyboard is the best way to play a shooter.
What it really comes down to is while BLU-RAY has the capacity it doesn't have the speed to play any games directly from it. This just proves that the real advantage comes from having a Hard-drive standard in all models not having BLU-RAY.

This game was for sure hyped. I remember when it was going to be for the 360 and PS3. Cwalat – MS didn’t brain wash anyone into playing the game. Despite what you may think a lot of us enjoyed Halo (Fact: Sales were awesome). It didn’t appeal to people like you, just like I’m sure GOW didn’t, and Ninja Gaiden when it was on the original Xbox (that is until it made a presence on the PS3).

I strongly doubt that. PS3 is right on point with the PS2’s attach rate. If we go by your theory of the killer games driving the attach rate higher, it would be a bit flawed because we didn’t see that from the PS2. Not to say it has been reported several times, that Playstation owners are known for having horrible attach rates. You nailed it right on the head. Vista is like another ME, something to hold people over till Windows 7 and 8. As for Linux you’re so right about Linux and how they have a long way to go. If it was back in the NT4/Win95 verse Linux days, the Linux people had a valid fight (I was one on Linux side). After the release of Windows 2000/XP, Linux was just out classed, let’s not forget the Linux community sees running the GUI a security risk. Do we really want to go back to the DOS days?
I’m surprised the percentage is so high for those in the USA that play the 360 but then again I’m not. If you hear from most PS3 fanboys they would leave you to believe PS3 is the hottest console and all 360 people all will be receiving a RROD courtesy of Microsoft.
All in all I love my 360 and the way they have XBL setup it's great.
I haven’t purchased BLU RAY or HD DVD because they are all dated technology. I don’t know why we would shift to buying meda that maxes out at 200GB, when in a few years 200GB is going to be considered too small. Not to say there are better technologies now that cap out at much larger sizes in data storage.
It's hard to pick. This is the best line up I have seen for the PS3 since it got released. MGS, FF stuck out the most for the PS3 but I will say NG2 (been a fan since Nintendo days), Fable2, To Human, GOW2, are going to keep with the 360 this year. However I do like what I see comming from the PS3 I just need to see more.
