Same page brother. Of all the games coming out for the rest of the year those three you have listed and Dark Souls are the only ones I am getting. I fugure it this way:
Uncharted 3 - shortest game in the lot. Maybe 12 hours SP and I'll be done. Not into MP.
Assassin's Creed: Revelations - 40 hours SP? Still haven't gotten everything in Brotherhood.
Skyrim - 100 hours? Maybe more.
Dark Souls - well I&...
I've had to narrow the field down to four titles I definitely want and know I will finish (at least attempt to finish). It has been very difficult to say the least. All I can hope for is for 2012 to be quieter so I can go back and get all the games I missed in 2011. Here's where my money is going:
Dark Souls
Uncharted 3
Skyrim
Assassin's Creed Revelations
Love the technology and I would definitely get one but...
I would be terrified. Why? We already have enough people driving, walking, skipping, hopping, etc. while texting. Can you imagine the chaos with us all walking around, looking like extras from Star Trek, with a Vita in our hands, ducking for cover and screaming to our buddies "Watch my 6! Snipers in the clock tower! AAAHHHHHH!"
"Microsoft E3 Press Conference Impresses"
Really? Is this a serious article? Really? Someone please tell me what I missed. Is there another MS conference scheduled for later in the week that no one knows about? Really? I just, I'm speechless...
Sony and Nintendo have time to re-think their conferences. They can save some stuff for later in the year or even next year at this point. It seems like MS is kinda giving up. I really don't understand their strategy at this point.
Is HALO 4 really going to be Microsoft's big E3 announcement? That really can't be it? Seriously?
Considering the current GMT we will hopefully be seeing the US store update around 5-6pm EST. That would be a nice Friday evening gift.
you know, this never happened on my:
telstar network or
atari network or
sega network or
neo geo network or
3DO network or
oh right, you didn't need to be connected to the rest of the world to play games back then. huh, what a novel idea.

Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital have done something that no other videogame developer has ever done. They have not only created a series of games that is known worldwide but they have also influenced and been embraced by one of the largest, farthest reaching indutries in the entire world; the automotive industry. From SEMA to collaboration with car manufacturers and racing engineers they are now a part of not only videogame history but automotive history as well. Sure there are cro...
i'm trading in the Wii and all the very expensive accessories i have for that to get Move. I already have the camera so i'll get at least two controller setups and a couple of games. Sony would be wise to setup some sort of trade-in strategy with gamestop, etc. trade in your wii and get a Move bundle, etc. I fell into the Wii trap a few years ago. least used gaming system i have ever owned. most shovelware for any system ever created.
...I will fully admit to being a Sony supporter and I only followed the MS conference because, I'll admit, they have been pretty good at dropping a big announcement. I kept waiting for it. I kept waiting for that big exclusive that would overshadow anything Sony or Nintendo had to offer. 36 minutes ago the conference ended and I'm still waiting. I really find it hard to believe that was it. Seriously? I hope Sony doesn't spend their whole show on Move. While it looks better...
Dammit, I was hoping that's exactly what they were going to do! Ragnarok needs it's own game! Maybe that's what Jaffe has been working on. One can only hope...
well I am fat, my 500GB PS3 is fat and we're both feelin' just fine after v3.21.
Gonna eat some pizza and feed my PS3 a Kratos sandwich...
...just kept hitting that button, you know, when the screen gets full of stuff in that one part? How many people just kept hitting that button for a long time, long time, just because it felt good? I know I did.
There is no real CD dude. With the Ultimate Edition you get a code so you can download the music. I did it this morning. Sounds like Sony messed this one up for the Ultimate Edition folks.
Played last night for a couple of hours. I'm up to the second "boss" battle. I stopped and turned it off before the battle commenced. I couldn't take it anymore. It was all too good. I am actually considering starting over again just to play the first hour. Epic, completely and utterly EPIC. I have long held Uncharted 1 and 2 as the best games for the PS3, and I still do, but if God of War III continues the way it started, it will be the best PS3 game to date, hands down. In...
this is what i don't get....
Kratos just brings Gaia and the other Titans back in time and prepares to attack Olympus when he exclaims "Hold Gaia! I cannot continue our assault on Zeus until I come up with a few new moves! I have defeated all who have challenged me but it is not good enough! I am not innovative! Give me a few minutes will ya sweety?"
Seriously, the story continues right where it left off! Why should things be totally different! En...
okay, an honest question from a guy who has been around since telstar. I have three pcs at home right now but use them for pc related tasks, not gaming. none of them would be able to effectively run something like BF3 without a major upgrade or, more simply, by buying a new pc. i do my gaming on the ps3 and currently choose to stick with it because of the wide variety of games (ps3 exclusives rarely show up on the pc) and ease of use. my question is simply; how much would you have to spen...
