I've been playing games for a long time and for the first time ever a game almost made me sick. I was playing a zone race the other night and by time I got up to zone 25 I was feeling kind of funky. The game is intense, now I know why they delayed it. If they toned it down I can only imagine what it used to be like!

Not defending Gamestop (I know some secrets too) but they do call you when a game you reserved arrives. This obviously doesn't help if the game is delayed past a year (rare) or never comes out.

The God of War games are my favorite all time games (Chains of Olympus was off the hook for a portable game!). When I watched the Sony conference and later downloaded the teaser I was slighty upset because a) it was short and b) it was only cgi. I laughed at myself when I thought "it would be wild if they could pull THAT off!" Well, I'm no fan of Gamespot, but if they can say this, given their apparent disdain for the PS3, I am truly amazed. ... I'm starting to wish there was only one console. Have MS market it (they are better at marketing), have Sony build the damn thing (reliabilty) and have Nintendo, well, do whatever it is Nintendo does. Obviously, this is not going to happen soon, or ever, but it would be nice to turn ALL of the developers loose to make the best game they can on a single piece of hardware. That's where the competition belongs, between development houses not console makers.
