Yeah, I paid $400 (cash, all $1 bills) for my Atari 400. I paid $699 (maybe it was $599) for my Neo-Geo and up to $200 for some of the games. It is expensive hobby. I've owed all of the following systems at one point and never had less than 30 games for each of them (plus numerous PCs since 1987 with untold hundreds of games):

Atari 2600
Atari 400
SEGA Master System
SEGA Genesis
Neo-Geo
3DO
SEGA Saturn
PS1

All three games look good but I will be voting for Zombie Vikings. I mean it's a game about Vikings that are zombies. Really, that is a win-win combination right there.

How about as a PS Plus subscriber you are entitled to 4 free games per system per month. SONY puts together a package of games for the month and YOU get to pick the ones YOU like out of that package for the month. They could limit it to two per system per month and only put up a package of four. You pick two for free and get a 10% discount on the other two if you like. This would be better than just voting.

This is not a complaint. This is an idea.

I have Journey on the PS3 and I never got past the second area. It just didn't grab my attention back then and I never went back to finish it. When it was released on the PS4 I thought about getting it again but didn't want to shell out another $20. When I went to the PS Store I saw I didn't have to pay for it again I promptly downloaded it and began playing. Now, I'm a tough old bird but when my journey was complete and the credits rolled I will admit that I shed a tear o...

It currently has my vote. Yes, Bloodborne and Witcher 3 are incredible games and I can see GOTY coming down to these three games (and Fallout 4). But right now, Arkham Knight edges out everything else. The story is incredible. I love the batmobile. The graphics and voice acting are unmatched. I can't wait for the DLC. The game was so good I went back and started Asylum, City and Origins all over again. Plus watched the Dark Knight trilogy. Mark Hamill deserves some kind of award ...

Totally love it. Arkham Knight is an absolutely amazing game. I just wish you could fly the Batwing and it would be awesome to have a Batboat. The awesome water physics are wasted in this game! Starting New Game +!

I literally just finished the "main" story a few minutes ago. Personally it is the most fun I have had playing ANY game since Uncharted 2. It is a great game with an absolutely fantastic story. Currently, it is my favorite game of this generation. Great job Rocksteady! Now, maybe, a game about another DC hero in another city?

I love it. Rocksteady did an amazing job with the model. The transformation into battle mode is awesome and the Batwing delivery system for upgrades to suit and car are fun. Hey, I grew up in the 70s watching Adam West flit around in tights. I'll always love that Batmobile and Burton's vision was awesome too. But this one just fits the high-tech nature of today's caped crusader. Overall, the game has been amazing so far. Can't wait to pick up where I left off tonight.

I may be the only one but I liked "For Honor". It has Vikings. I like Vikings.

My favorite part of the show, overall, has been watching reaction videos of the FFVII announcement. Why? Because if you watch a bunch of them you'll see people from all different countries, all different walks of life, showing genuine emotion about something that was a big part of their life 18 years ago. FFVII transcends borders and race and gender and that is why it, and gaming...

Nope. Don't need it. I just want it.

I've been playing all the big releases this year so far and the only one I consistently go back to and enjoy the most is Bloodborne. The only other series of games that have held my attention like the Souls games are the God of War series, the Uncharted series and ICO/Shadow of the Colossus. Regarding that last one I really do hope The Last Guardian is real and will eventually be released.

One of the few times I'm happy about a digital purchase. Installed and ready to go on the ol' PS4 in 1 hr 21 min.

I love the Souls games, even DSII. I get so paranoid playing them it is insane. Last night I'm strolling around doing quite well, making good progress, when I look up at the HUD and realize I carrying around a whole bunch of Blood Echoes. I immediately became paranoid. I stopped sprinting around the game world willy-nilly and went back to walking slowly. I came to a new area and literally made my character take one step at a time. I rotated the camera every which way to try to see w...

Just like I thought. If you like games like Uncharted and The Last of Us than you will like this game. I remember Uncharted getting some bad press and reviews. I was shocked to see it get 7s and 8s. Then Naughty Dog made Uncharted 2...

To Ready at Dawn. Stay positive. You created an incredible experience on par with the best Naughty Dog has done. Keep it up, keep your talent and you will be rewarded one day. This game is definitely better than the majority of reviews h...

No what's silly is that a developer throws in some QTEs and everyone has a meltdown. My copy arrives in the mail today. After I play the game maybe I'll be eating all of my words. But I believe Ready at Dawn incorporated such events to draw people into the scene more. The same as The Last of Us did with certain encounters and God of War did with certain battles.

"...this isn't a storytelling industry..." Wow, I actually have no idea how to respond to that.

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Telltale Games "The Walking Dead: Season 1" win Game of the Year in 2012? Wasn't that game an interactive drama where most of your characters actions were carried out with QTEs or single button responses? Didn't it win, not for the inclusion or exclusion of certain control schemes, but because of the story? Sometimes the hypocrisy is astounding in this business.

@kwandar
I'll decide if it's mediocre when I play it. There have been plenty of games that I have played since 1976 that other people have said were great and I found them mediocre. To each his own. Reviews are an opinion. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to have my own anymore because the gaming media has already decided everything for me. Why don't we just let them play all of the games and decide which ones will be released to the public. That would save us ...

Hey, I bought the Premium Edition. Why? Because I get up everyday, put my big boy pants on and go to work to earn money to spend as I see fit. I'm happy you are also fiscally responsible and are not spending money on something you do not want. Both of our comments are equally useless.
