The KZ series has always had a great back story and great single player campaigns. And what I have always appreciated the most (and I hope this holds true for Shadow Fall) has been the ability to play all the MP maps with BOTs. It might not be quite the same but 10 years from now I can drop KZ 3 in my PS3 and still play on all the MP maps I paid for.
On a side note, I checked out a little of the recent videos of SP action and the very first scene where the player ziplines...
Uncharted, TLOU crossover. Remember in UC3 there was the newspaper article referring to the beginning of the outbreak. Same universe. So, what happens to Drake and crew when the world, as we know it, comes to an end? How does he survive and where does he go? Is there an ancient civilization's artifact that can bring humanity back from the brink? Will he have to kill an infected Sully? It could be rather dramatic.

There are a couple of things about the SP that I'm not happy about. The greatest thing, to me, about all GoW games to this point has been the narrative. You always knew what you were doing and why. I kept waiting for the update last night and finally gave up around 10:30 pm est. Got up this morning and saw the message about the $10. I've owned a PS3 and had the same account since Feb 2007. I've been a Plus member for about two years now and just signed up for another year (plus 3 months free). I would have to think it boils down to the six years with the same ID. It was a nice surprise either way.

Sony has such a long history of poorly misunderstood teasers that they have their own fan base confused! Let's take a serious look at everything here please.
Sony has been trying to rebuild their image. Though PS3 sales have come around over the years Sony has struggled with their other consumer products and the company is hurting. When the PS3 hit the market it was so very far behind it is quite amazing it ever caught up at all. Usher in the next generation.

Back in the 2600 days Activision came along and they were GODS! They made THE best games back then. Skiing, Hockey, Pitfall, etc., etc. They were the very first 3rd party publisher. I wonder where Bob Whitehead is now? I idolized that man. You have to understand each game was basically a one man project and the creator's image and bio was on the box or in the instructions. What an amazing time. I wish Activision was the same company it was back in the 80s.
