God of War 3 was never going to make it this year. I'll be expecting it in March (like 1 and 2) to close out Sony's fiscal year with a huge bang. GT5, who knows? Maybe Spring 2010 but I'm guessing Fall 2010.

Let's not forget KZ2 came out in the end of February. Not exactly the best time of year to push HUGE numbers. Sure, the game was hyped. But didn't Gears 2 come out in the fall? Didn't it come out on a system with a much larger install base in NA? The same thing is going to happen with God of War 3 (to an extent). I keep checking N4G and I am surprised this hasn't been reported. As many guessed, or knew, the announcement was simply the PS2 price being dropped to $99. Not really a "huge" announcement.

DSi will be huge and iTouch will be taking market share away from Sony. They need to step it up in the handheld arena or call it a day. They need to move away from the UMD format for games and go directly to downloadable only or memory stick games. It's a huge market, one where they don't have to worry about Microsoft. But they do have to worry about Apple now.
We'll find out tomorrow.

If this is any indication we should be 2 or 3 years away from the best PS3 games.
Killzone 2 waits for me in my car. I can't wait to play it and see if it can dethrone my favorite PS3 game so far, Uncharted.

...the question has no answer. Once any game is released on multiple systems, no matter how long it takes, it is no longer exclusive making the whole point moot. Exclusives should stay just that, exclusive. If you don't ever want to worry about "exclusives" simply buy all available consoles (or a PC and a PS3 ;) ) and enjoy everything the gaming world has to offer.

Played the demo last night and it was frustrating to say the least. Resident Evil is one of my all time favorite games but I didn't like RE4 very much. The story was great but I don't want to be frustrated with game play mechanics just to get through the game. Maybe the controls will be tweaked for the retail version and it will be a more enjoyable experience.
