I did this yesterday via Verizons LTE network from about 5 miles away from home with 2 bars out of 5. Played COD Ghosts without an issue. Just remember that you need to create a personal hotspot with your iPad or phone, as you cant connect via 3G with the Vita. Anything over 2 bars will be sufficient.
A connect speed over 3Mb down and 1 up will do it.
You can remote play any game that doesnt use the camera, including all of those you listed.
I played COD Ghosts today via remote play on Verizon 4G with 2 bars and it performed incredibly, with just a few hiccups in the beginning. I am just amazed that we can do this. I was in awe the entire time.
The only issue I see is that in game text can be too small sometimes and especially true with FPSs, is things are so tiny on screen, its tough to see enemies sometimes... but nothing really hindered gameplay all that much.
Again I am amazed that this is po...
This game was so incredible back in the day. I can't imagine how good it will play with the advanced visuals and physics that next generation systems offer. I just hope they take full vantage of them. I would love to see the cars ripping apart piece by piece, as they would in real life. Online, I don't think people could get a better experience, if it's done right.
I'd love to know when this goes live. I won't play the game until it does. Did the patch for call of duty release yet?
This is a very fair review. It marks it's negative points with some positive spin. Overall, it's a simple game to be enjoyed by a new generation of gamers. I'm going to have fun playing it, I hope other people will give it a try even with all of the negativity surrounding it.
Never in 1 million years, back when I was playing pong, did I ever imagine graphics would ever get this good. I cannot believe what I am seeing with this video. I love the lead characters personality, it makes him feel alive and not as one-dimensional as most video game characters do.
I hope they announce tonight that this game is coming out in January or February. Can you imagine if they announced that it was in stores today and we could pick it up with our new systems? Ther...
Some guesses of mine:
Lair would compete with Microsofts Crimson Dragon
The Getaway could finally be made the way the developers originally imagined, with a fully interactive and lively world.
Rally Cross, as no rally game has been announced for next gen and it would really help sell a lot of systems in territories they need to spark more of an interest in.
Warhawk would be a welcome surprise, in a genre that is also so far b...
I also signed up last week. Places like target and the Sony store have 3 to 5x the points back. Quite a lot if you're going to buy something like a TV for $2000 or $3000 or a receiver or something. It's a great way to get games and Sony wallet money.
Thank God. I'm tired of these developers and journalists giving everything away before the game releases. I wish all developers would do this exact same thing, let gamers use a little bit of imagination and discover things throughout their journey with the game. Instead of already having played and beat it before the game even releases to store shelves.
Does anybody remember the days when the only information we ever knew about a game was from the pictures on the back of...
Mantle is no different than Sonys low level API, allowing developers to code to the metal much easier than traditional methods. I have no doubt that it was Sonys original idea that brought the idea of Mantle to PCs. This will allow developers to squeeze every ounce of power out of not only the PS4, but PC graphics cards to come.
This is exciting news for PC and PS4 owners and not so much for Xbox One, as developers will face the same hurdles as they did with Sonys own PS3 and...
Lighting and resolution seem to be the differences. It looks like there may be more particles, also.
This game already looked phenomenal on the PS3, so the leap in visuals isnt going to be as pronounced as in something like Killzone. Though the difference is there, its very subtle.
Im guessing it was a political move by Activision to help Microsoft save face. Make both games look somewhat identical by limiting the PS4s resolution. Then release a patch at launch to take the PS4 version back to native 1080p... So nobody knows the difference.
The problem, Activision got caught with their hand in the cookie jar and Microsoft was outed. My guess is, it was done by Infinity Wards own people to out Microsofts controlling ways. Show Microsoft that it doesnt mat...
I already bought Killzone on PS4 via the web store. I noticed a day or two afterwards, the PS4 games disappeared. It would suck if they didnt offer PS4 games on the web store. I like the idea of being able to purchase games on the road and being able to stream them to my Vita... without ever having to touch the console. They better change this soon, or it makes streaming to my Vita pointless. Im a musician and tour a lot. I wont have access to my console for months at at a time and was relyin...
This is about what I expected. Decent, but nothing extraordinary. Worth a play through or two.
I was waiting to get this until I knew if it was cross buy or not, as I wanted to play it on the PS4. Great to know it is. This will be my first time playing it. It is another game I was always jealous of, being an Xbox 360 owner last gen. It always looked so relaxing and peaceful to play.
A little over one day left til launch!
Journalists who throw insults, are generally covering up their own biases or lack of knowledge... and people who call others fanboys are generally the ones who are most biased themselves.
Of course resolution matters. Upscaling looks horrible on any HDTV over 50" and since HDTVs over 50" can be had for $400 plus, they are cheap enough to be owned by the general public. More and more people are getting more and more knowledgable on resolutions and what they mean to o...
I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say sound mind comment, as I never said it was going to be the best game in the world, it just looks like it will be a blast for me. I was one who enjoyed Most Wanted. I loved the game Chase HQ in the 80s arcades. The cop portion of this game is exactly like it. I could play it for 100 hours straight and never get bored.
I don't play much online, so that portion doesn't really matter to me. Though I could see people ...
You and me both. This is one of my most anticipated games. Should be a blast both online and off.
I would love to be able to customize the PS4 desktop with what I want to see and how i want to see it. I like the retail kiosks game cover flow, like the iPod. i would have that and friends, settings, store and message indicator from left to right of the bottom of the screen and that is it. Simple and clean interface, with everything i need on one page, without scrolling.
