I'm not sure what you're looking at, but just the running animations alone look next gen. Not to mention the reactions of players like when he got the stiff arm and Chris Johnson stepping around his lineman, mere inches from their feet. Not to mention the crowd, each doing their own thing. I wish the video was in 1080p, so we could see it clear, but the visuals look fine to me.
720p footage here: ...
When stuff like this starts affecting single player, UBisoft is infringing on gamer's rights as consumers. Basically forcing their hand to pay more money to enjoy a portion of the game that has nothing to do with their online pass. Very sneaky and underhanded. But what more should you expect from a corporation who cares more about their investors and bottom-line than they do the games themselves.
Expect to see the exact same thing in Watchdogs.
Thanks for the reply, and good to hear. I really want to pick my plays on my iPad. I would also love to design plays on my iPad. again, thanks for the information.
I don't get why Coachglass wasn't added to the PS4 version considering that we will have our own, if not more, external devices to display such a thing on. Not only will we have the Vita, we will have iPads and android devices also.
I would've liked to been able to call plays with my iPad. Other than that, the game looks like it's going to be incredible. Looks like a lot of work went into the next-generation versions.
He needs to contact Dice and the guys who did the characters for Battlefield 4. They look as photorealistic as any character Ive ever seen in a game. I guess that is the huge issue, when you go with a photorealistic look in your game, everything has to be photorealistic. When it's not, it destroys the illusion of reality.
I'm amazed that they agreed to give this away for free on PSN. The reason being, is it is the platformer, I believe, shows off the next-generation much more so than Knack. A fresh new idea, with great visuals, great music and, what seems like, a great story. One of those brilliant ideas that generally come along at the start of a new generation. Before developers start settling in to what is selling well and giving us sequel after sequel after sequel.
People don't rea...
I'm a gamer, all I want my game system to do is play games. I don't care if any multimedia features are ever put into the PS4. If I wanted a multimedia machine, I would've bought an Xbox One. The features should be and always remain an add-on feature, at the discretion of the gamer. Not something that always runs in the background, but something the gamer chooses to have run in the background. You should never force the consumer into something they may or may not want, it should a...
What makes me laugh about this chart, is you never heard people arguing over these resolutions. A lot of them were below the specified resolution of the systems they were made for. Remember, when the 360 and PS3 came out, they were supposed to do 1080p. Did even one game hit that? A lot of them rarely hit 720p. Especially those with, what would be considered, great visuals.
So, why does it matter so much this next generation? A lot of HD TV shows and stations only broadcast a...
There was an article today that stated some stores are replacing Watchdogs with Assassins Creed. I imagine, if you haven't heard anything, this is probably what is happening with your order... Though, I would still get in touch with them and ask.
This was my most anticipated title, also. Lets just hope that the delay was for the best and the end product will be even more awesome than originally planned.
It's totally understandable. The bandwidth just isn't there to stream the games in any sort of quality that people would want to play them in, not to mention lag time in controls. I just hope at some point, we can connect the Dualshock 4 to the Vita via Bluetooth to play the games as we would on our PS4.
I'm going all-digital for the next generation, because I want to be able to stream my entire collection of PS4 games to my Vita. Can't do that if I need a disc installed to play a certain game. Kind of hard to change discs from a remote location, halfway around the world. :)
Another game that looks incredible on the PS4. I cannot wait to play and explore that game world. The way those trees are blowing is awe inspiring.
Looking incredible. The delay was well warranted, if not just for the lighting alone. It looks smoother and sharper. The lighting is some of the best Ive ever seen. I cant wait to play it.
The Show is going to be incredible this year. I just cant imagine how good it will be, with global illumination, raytracing and bouncing, etc... I think this will be the first game to truly mimic reality. I cannot wait!
Purely from a business standpoint, this is one of the worst decisions I think I've ever seen another business make. Most analysts predict that the PlayStation 4 will outsell the Xbox One at least 2 to 1 throughout its lifetime. So unless Microsoft shelled out, what could be, hundreds of millions of dollars to keep this exclusive. I doubt this was a great business decision.
Truthfully, I could care less if the game came to the PS4, but I know a lot of gamers would want it ...
I saw this headset, when I picked up my dualshock 4 last Sunday. I didnt realize it was for the PS4, or I wouldve bought one.
Wow, I didn't realize there was flight combat in multiplayer. I haven't played a multiplayer game in years, but this may be my first foray back. Looks amazing. Thanks for posting the video.
Hahaha. This made me laugh. They have been building the single player up, via videos, to be something quite spectacular... And it may still be, but $60 for a game thats barely longer than Titanic or Scarface.... Not worth it, for something Ill play once and never again.
Ill rent it and enjoy it.
They are one in the same. Gamestop owns EB Games, or is it the other way around? Either way, its the same company.
Great to hear. I think Sony was originally excluding MP3 support to not only save money in licensing fees, but to lobby for more Music Unlimited members. I dont think people realize how big this is of Sony to do for PS4 owners. They stand to lose quite a bit of money from subscription fees by doing this, plus they have to pay a commercial licensing fee to use the MP3 codec. Originally, you had to subscribe to Music Unlimited at $10/ month, if you wanted to stream music behind your games. Now,...
