I agree with many above. My game of show. Definitely has great feel... with hundreds of zombies that all want to eat you and, what looks like, great path finding AI(notice on the roof when he locked the door behind him and the zombies, after a minute or so, found their way out of the window on the other side of the room. Most games zombies have terrible AI that automatically goes back to stupid roaming mode when you walk only a block or so away from them. These guys look like they will contin...

So, they basically just confirmed not only its existence... but the fact that this is a high end alternative to the core system. Meaning, it may actually support true 4K gaming and come in at a premium cost(thinking $5-$600+). Im all for this, if true. Both systems will play the same games... but the 4K will offer higher end PC-like visuals. It will extend the current generation, while still allowing hardcore gamers the high end visuals they crave. Im hoping it launches this year, in time for...

I was thinking the exact same thing. Looks like a breath of fresh air in the me too world of video games. Something that allows the player to explore and learn about the depths of the ocean and species that roam it, while learning about the characters origins and back story.

I could get lost exploring this game. I cannot wait!

Youre getting a hell of a deal at $20. Also, Driveclub @ $7.49 and Until Dawn @ $20 are a no brainer. The great thing about this generations games, is that they tend to drop in price fairly quickly after launch. At launch, you can get them for sub $50 prices and weeks after, sometimes $40 and under.

It pays to wait, if you can. You get great games at incredible prices, in doing so.

In my opinion, SnapMap needs a ton of assets to make it useable. No matter what you create using it, it looks like Doom. If they want to make it a big deal to gamers and modders, give people assets that you dont see in game. Allow them to build full games that are unlike its namesake.

I spent about a dozen hours using SnapMap and got creative with assets to build new ones... The issue? You cant save out your creations as assets to use in other maps. So, if you spend an hour...

Awesome! Ive been playing the hell out of Earth Defense Force 4.1 and loving every minute of its arcade-like, senseless fun. Serious Sam is more of the same and usually a benchmark for pushing visuals while still maintaining a solid framerate with a ton of enemies on the screen, in huge wide open(yet boxed in, think Uncharted 4) worlds. Ive always loved the set pieces in the Serious Sam games. They always give me many jaw dropping moments.

I cannot wait to see some gameplay...

I truly don't think people ever open their ears or eyes and listen and read. The only reason that neo is happening, is because AMD have changed their production lines over to the new process to fabricate smaller, cooler running processors for the phone/tablet/mini PC market. Which is where the processor in the PS4 falls. Sony wanted to make a PS4 slim, but in order to do that they would have to pay AMD hundreds of thousands of dollars in order to keep those lines open in order to produce ...

I agree with those who've posted. What gamers don't understand is that prices have risen very little, in fact only $10, over the past 40 years. The simple fact is, it's 100 times more expensive to make a game then it was back in the Atari era, yet gamers are almost paying the same price as they were back then, at retail. So, these companies are only starting to pull a profit when they sell 1,000,000+ units. If they don't, they go out of business. This has been happening over ...

While I enjoyed the first game, I can't imagine that this would be any good after all of the announcements and delays and then cancellations, it's going to end up being something that nobody wants from the series. It's just been too long. Think Duke Nukem Forever.

I like the first game because it was something different from the norm. I liked the Indian spiritual aspect. Without it... the game is just going to be Prey, for the sake of name recognition, without any ...

While Im generally not a fan of enemy scaling... The Witcher 3 almost needs it, or a complete overhaul of the AI and its battle system. I found myself overlevelled for about 80% of the game. Getting there was a bit of a challenge, though once around level 20 or so... Not much could touch you. Also, it was easy enough to find high end armor and weapons, simply by exploring and finding it in hidden stashes... even in White Orchard.

You can always up the difficulty, I guess......

I have to agree that this is an odd addition to any library. It is obviously trying to capture the balance between Minecraft and Tower Defense, with a little Sim City thrown in. Though, in a weird, artsy, Nintendo kind of way. I applaud the originality in the visual department, but I think it may be too odd for its own good. I truly think its caught in development hell and they keep doing the betas in order to meter reaction. I think Japan is the last straw, as I think if its going to hit big...

This has got to stop. Seriously, how is anyone ever going to get objective reviews of games if reviewers are afraid to give scores below a certain threshold, afraid of retribution in the form of petitions?

Doom is good, but you can see why in some reviewers eyes, its too old school for their tastes. Modern shooters allow for intricate character and gear progression, which gives games long term replayability. Dooms multiplayer is fun in short spurts, but I doubt it will have...

It's good they're fixing everything they can, but the presentation is so bare-bones that it's disgusting to call it a 2017 NFL football game when 2K had it nailed almost 15 years prior. Like others, I wish the NFL would stop licensing their product exclusively to EA and let others take a shot at it. Specifically, Sony San Diego. With their baseball game being so incredible, I can't imagine what they could do with a football game. One can only dream...

I can only imagine how bad it was without the patch. Why not just delay the game a little further and iron out these issues? Did they think that they were just going to work themselves out? Releasing a game in this state is worse than delaying it, as people will never trust that youve worked out all of the issues and you ultimately hve to drop the price to try and bring them back. With reviews saying the multiplayer is bad anyways, Im not sure a delay would have changed much.

It definitely is an undertaking. I am 200 hours in, after exploring and doing many side quests and Im just a few main quests away from the end with still a bunch of unexplored locations and unfinished side quests. Its the only game Ive been playing for nearly 6 months. Of course, everybodys experience can and will be different and you can just do the main quests and cut the playtime down to 30-40 hours... Though, youd be missing out on what makes this game so great. The miles and miles of lan...

It isn't going to upset any ecosystem... Its a choice! You have a cell, an upgrade to it comes out every year... You can either buy it and have the most powerful version of it, or not and still have access to the same software... Just not as pretty or fast.

Im tired of people who dont like the idea, making it out to be the end of consoles. Sensationalistic hyperbole from those who cant afford to keep up with the latest version of the hardware. Both the Neo and original ...

It was hard, but Im glad I held off buying Tropico 5. Anyone who played it... Is there native keyboard/ mouse support for the PS4 version? RTS games always feel better using a mouse/ key combo.

Tabletop Racing also looks good. Im guessing/ hoping there is split screen support, as my wife loves these kind of games.

It seems every other week somebody claims they heard a rumor about a new GTA V single player expansion coming, but with GTA VI being worked on... I don't know if it makes sense. I think I would rather have them get GTA VI out sooner, with its true next gen potential in tow, then to go back and revisit past expanses with a new story.

Not that I don't love GTA V, but it's been so long since its release… I just want something fresh and new that truly takes advantage of...
