Looks very cool. I can't even remember the last snowmobile game. I hope this gets a Pro enhanced version. Id love to see 1800p or true 4K at 60fps, with HDR and a day/ night cycle. Im hoping the best for this game.
Yep! Love it. 1440p and visual improvements, with vsync intact. Ill take 4fps drops here and there over tearing any day. Tearing is the antichrist of modern gaming.
No you wont. Any PC gamer will tell you that 6tflops is still low for true 4K. So, you may play more true 4K games, but not all of them will be and I guarantee that Red Dead wont be one of them. Like the Pro, the Scorpio will have to trade off features for resolution or use software tricks to upscale.

If two IP addresses were banned, especially a new one that should have been clean... then the issue is within his home, sending out constant pings to Sonys server, raising the red flag and causing the bans. As above, I recommend a thorough cleanse of all of your systems for spyware, malware, viruses, etc... check your routers log and see if any of your devices are sending, or trying to send, out a constant stream to a single IP or range of them. Better shadows and reflections should make the already incredible looking game, astonishing. I think people forget that the game already looks awesome. Any boost to that, is a good one. If we get 1080p with high or higher PC settings for shadows and reflections and then HDR in a future patch... the game is going to be one of the best looking out. Regardless, whatever keeps this great development house and engine around, is good for the industry. They are one of the few independent third party dev houses that you can rely on to deliver the best in graphics technology... sometimes years ahead of the hardware that can render it. :)

I dont see the bad at all. What I see is how far weve come in 40 years. From the black and white, then 4 color sprites, to what we are playing now on the Pro and PC. When I go back and play these classic games, I end up appreciating what we have now... even more. Yet still enjoy the hell out of what the classics still have to offer.

Yea. 50+ million consoles says this theory is wrong. They arent going to give up on a business model that they have been slowly basing the entire companies existance off of. The gaming hardware division is Sony right now. Its their bread and butter.

I dont think they started hating them, I think it was more of a cost vs. sales thing for developers. Its a niche market and with games costing more and more to make, its hard for developers and publishers to take that risk. What I find odd, is that there are quite a few space shooters and flight combat games on iPad and Android that could make easy transfers over to consoles, that havent seen the light of day.

Im hoping that 2017 is going to bring single player DLC with a new map in either Miami or New York. It would be easy for them to do, as they already have the blueprints and models from games prior. Then its just rendering them with higher resolution textures at higher poly counts, to match that of the current game.

I truly think Sony needs to invest in some more first party studios. Nothing will ever show off what your machine can do more than a game created from the ground up for it. Especially when you have a talented development team and engine behind it.
