“Frankly we find more latency in the Bluetooth stack, connected to an Android phone.”

For some titles yes, servers have been shut down on PS3 & PS Vita

They’ll have controller support. There’s already been Call of Duty Zombies available on mobile and they included controller support.

If this story is anywhere close to true 60ghz wouldn’t be for 15 to 20 feet. They actually state in the story 60ghz would be for pretty immediate proximity. It would potentially go as low as 5ghz.

Plus consider this. If the title is running 90fps and you add in a new technology that introduces latency when said latency occurs you’d lose frames in the process, no?

You mean like the Big N’ Tasty? How about the Big King? 🤔

Not to mention that most people don’t know it is very possible to build a burger to your standards at McDonald’s. So yes, you could get a Whopper from McDonald’s. You can also get a Big Mac at Burger King.

No, they are not. Azure is the storage of Project XCloud but that’s about it. In other words Azure servers will power XCloud.

A physics engine is now a buzzword? Never mind the fact it’s two words but I’m pretty sure all developers have to have some kind of physics.

@SurgicalMenace: Ugh. Sony has been a company for over 25 years. 🤔

Nintendo as a company is over a hundred years old. I’m not sure if you know but companies rebrand all the time. Typically because they’ve either become known as anti-consumer, their products flop, they enter new industries, they get bought out. There’s a rather long list.

Sony was also not always known as Sony.

This is one example of an anti-consumer stance by So...

“Tonight's problems have not been listed on the official PSN status site, although there is a reference to problems using the PlayStation Store.

"You may have some difficulty accessing features and products on the PlayStation Store. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience," reads the PlayStation support message.”

Two sources stating the same as well.

This is truth. It has been confirmed by Epic Games. The developer of Fortnite and the company who created Fortnite crossplay. Here’s another source to add to gangsta_red too.

This is true and confirmed by Epic Games. Players on any platform will still be able to group up and play together if they do wish. When randomly searching for a match Switch players will no longer be pooled with PS4 or Xbox One.

Yes, it has been confirmed by Epic Games. Crossplay is not being removed. Pooling however is changing.

Epic Games reached out to confirm that this was indeed the case, but the pooling changes would result "an on-average better per-game experience" for both mobile and Switch players.”

PlayStation is their most profitable division. By a landslide. Many of Sony’s other divisions cost them money.

Sony’s revenue as a whole company in 2018 was $22 billion. So less than $1 billion came from every other division.

“PS5 will supposedly be able to play games from all PlayStations then all will be on new system. Maintaining servers with PS3 is expensive.” They can’t simply write off the PS3 network like you’re suggesting. If they do most PS3 games will instantly be eliminated. Those PS3 games are all set to use the same network and its quirks. Unless they want to go back and rewrite all titles to take account of the new network which they won’t as that’d cut into potential profits and good luck getting th...

Which as we can tell makes no difference since PS3s network is causing issues for PS4. In other words unless Sony fixes the PS3 network they’ve revamped twice it’s not going to solve the issue.

PS3 network was revamped after Geohot hack and again with the introduction of the Vita.

...This is about Microsoft crossplay how? I thought Fortnite, the title listed here isn’t from Microsoft. Isn’t that why Sony allowed it?

Then doesn’t Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite not have their own crossplay setup? Ya know, the Epic Games account?

Come to think about it... How did you add Microsoft to this conversation again? 🤔

I think you may need that bridge more than others. You need it to fill that gap.

Most games with crossplay gives the user the choice to either participate or not. If it were for co-op would you be against it?

The story supports co-op so with things like that crossplay would definitely be a bonus.

It does though as I represent then a different outlook. The side that will not buy a Switch solely for Pokémon. 🤨

One title is not a supplement for, well, a lot of things. The online setup is janky and that is a turnoff for me. Needing an app for a phone to make a lot happen outside of the Switch is also unappealing. One title is not going to occupy my family forever, that’s for sure. So without other titles of interest I wouldn’t drop $300 to play one game. ...

They’ve also added new craftable items, the aquatic update you referred to added new mechanics to swimming, water, new sea life, explorable shipwrecks, underwater fighting mechanics improved, and more. That’s from one single update.
