Game Center still exists and is built into iOS. It’s in Settings now.

Great which is why you’d be able to stay home and have no lag in your single player games and even away from home you will have zero lag in your single player games with this service. As this is not a streaming service.

Everyone seems to be thinking of the bad things rather than seeing the potential for good. I’m on an iPhone 6 right now and I have a decent collection of games I play on my phone as is so I don’t know I'd subscribe BUT if they’re putting more importance on gaming on iOS devices maybe that means more game support as well.

As is iOS has gamer names and iOS achievements plus the ability to create a friends list so I hope they consider adding more options for controllers an...

So if we like that game let us have some fun.

Gran Turismo is an established franchise that Polyphony had assets for already and a brand that was already known. They shit the bed with GT Sport compared to ANY past Gran Turismo game when they KNEW what they could do to have a successful product in the Gran Turismo realm.

Sea of Thieves is a new IP with no preexisting assets or brand success. Therefore Sea of Thieves would be a shot in the dark. It also wou...

@Razzer: No, that’d be like targeting another user and derailing the topic completely. Then going on to justify trolling, talking up one product while the actual product of this story gets shit on for ADDING CONTENT AT NO COST!

But I forgot. Here on N4G we just do that. Nobody is here for GAMING news after all and “N4G” is only about one manufacturer. God forbid gaming expands beyond one platform and THANK GOD it always has.

And don’t forget. Here “constr...

Why shouldn’t they? They finally completely touched up some car models that were before GT5 and moved away from “standard” cars. That however should leave all those preexisting car models that aren’t available in GT Sport to be touched up and readded.

The same with a lot of tracks.

Yes however the touch options of Project xCloud seem to promise more versatility and adaptability compared to what the PS4 Remote Play app is doing currently. Not to mention we know Project xCloud will support controllers from the start, something that can not be said for Remote Play.

Xperia devices currently are the only mobile devices offering Remote Play controller support. Other mobile devices require both a jailbreak and third party software to use a PS4 controller.

Every time this guy opens his mouth he sounds like a used car salesman. If Google is requiring 20 to 30mbps there’s a lot of people that won’t be able to touch the service. It’s literally one of the biggest complaints PS Now faced before downloading became an option. If your bandwidth wasn’t high enough the product was DOA to you even before you got to try it.

Ugh. This reminds me of his PR BS with PlayStation Home. Talked up all the potential it was supposed to have includ...

@yarbie: Except you don’t have to pay for multiplayer on anything but Xbox 360 & Xbox One. Xbox Live integration on other devices is completely free as we can already see with Minecraft.

It’s also ironic that Sony is charging for multiplayer access on PS4 as well so... I don’t think you have much of a point or one at all. Nintendo also is for Nintendo Switch.

The other issue is currently, Microsoft really doesn’t have a walled garden as it’s extending...

That’s called a starting point. On top of the fact that Xbox One supports external storage.

Ya know. Like how PS4 started at 500GB? PS3s were as low as 12GB flash storage.

I dunno. I guess you could see Minecraft on all platforms except PlayStation. Everywhere that offers XBL sign-in already supports achievements, crossplay, and the ability to transfer purchases at no additional cost.

“If a player has to sign up to xbl and pay that yearly fee...”
The insecurity is real. What yearly fee to sign up for XBL? There is no yearly fee for XBL short of XBL Gold which applies to Xbox 360 & Xbox One.

What people are also missing is in-game purchases like outfits and what not would go directly through the title with XBL sign-in and allow content to cross platforms. Purchases would then be processed via Microsoft and no longer via Nintendo.

“Fries went on to note that Microsoft offered to handle the software and networking side of things while Nintendo would be in charge of the hardware, and they could team up to release a product, but the company wasn't interested.”

It’s from your source. It says nothing about when or that Xbox was created directly after. Microsoft sought to add software to dedicated hardware from other companies. In other words Microsoft looked to be a second party developer by today’s s...

I just want to point out that I actually think this is a good deal. Studio MDHR should see a benefit as their game will now be coming to a new platform exposing that game to a new audience. Plus they have not one but two console manufacturers working with them on a common goal.

Further Microsoft no matter how you look at it has deeper pockets than Studio MDHR so them assisting in porting and taking on some of the costs has to be helpful. Nintendo also benefits because they ...

Yeah, I suppose I shouldn’t check my email and hope that sites that I frequent don’t have issues like embedded code. It just has to be porn, pirating, or something else stupid.

Better yet I should only be using a PC to log on, stare at the startup screen, and limit my PC usage.

Oh sorry. I forgot we aren’t in the late 90s anymore. We’re in 2019 where individuals show on a constant basis that if they want to do something malicious for the shits and giggles...

Then how is it not impressive that a remote connection is capable of having less latency impact even versus a local piece of hardware paired directly together with no middle man so to speak?

@below individuals: Sony also published Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon yet they held and hold no rights to either IP. Just because Sony publishes does not mean they have 100% control of the IPs or even those titles.

“At the same time, we’ll be working closely with the lovely team at Microsoft to investigate bringing Xbox Live features to the Nintendo Switch version of Cuphead. It’s still early days, so we can’t promise any dates or details on this, but we’ll be tinkering away to see what’s possible in the coming months!”

@DethWish: I do not have a PC. I don’t care to deal with the ever growing amount of virus programs out there claiming to work that ultimately don’t work for everything. I don’t care to shovel money at a PC just to shovel more at it, potentially more than I spent on a machine for one component.

I don’t care to hear that PC has this “huge library” only to find out there’s ALWAYS a chance on PC a product may not work on my machine. I don’t care to have the potential to play “A...
