Good. Hopefully Sony prioritizes in the future rather than acting like they’re superior because of PS4 or PS2. Rather individuals like it or not laws have to be followed. Clearly Sony isn’t abiding by local law.
To be point blank if the US constitution applies and copyright or anything petty applies so does Australian law. You can disagree all you want but it’s what they feel is right for them.
The US does not equal Australia. Europe isn’t necessarily Aus...
The reason the US is so strict is due to “copyright laws” within the United States. The justification is if you open it it’s possible for you to take digital copies or rip copies.
The US is also very anti consumer.
Which turns very invalid as this bundle, the topic of the story, contains Xbox Live.
How do you propose they use the disc for verification if the machine can’t read the disc? 🤨
The Xbox One is capable of CD playback and has that diode.
Right now. But it’s becoming less of a niche every day. Much like digital music and video.
Unless they add in a drive like they did with PS4 that doesn’t include a CD diode.
PSOne and some PS2 games were pressed on CDs. No CD capability again will result in no physical PSOne or PS2 backwards compatibility.
Dave Batista would be a better Kratos. He’s already big and defined, has a similar voice that would fit, and he’s got no problem going completely bald.
Did anyone else notice they state the bundle will have “one great price” but then they don’t state the price? 😛
Just found it kinda funny. $39.99 USD for the bundle. $19.99 for VR.
You’re asking a question then proceeding to spout off what you’re “sure” about and being frank, you shouldn’t be anywhere close to sure with no basis. I see your games constantly and they’re rather stupid. You have zero factual basis plus in this instance there are numerous pieces of factual information that shows Microsoft putting money into Minecraft and expanding the product.
For instance a recent update added more buildable items, more ways to use resources throughout t...
@Jin: And you’re acting like quadrupling sales while with Microsoft had nothing to do with Microsoft and the money they invested and continue to invest in Minecraft.
Doesn’t matter how you spin it Minecraft has been a much larger success post Microsoft.
I don’t see why it’d be publishers as publishers already work with Microsoft to upgrade their products for Xbox One & One X where there is not a guarantee of profits. The way it is right now if you own the content on disc or digital you are not required to make a new purchase.
If it turns into a paid service it’ll be a Sony decision. But then they’ve already made that decision this gen.
Isn’t that like Sony booooing backwards compatibility and a mass majority of PS4 owners downplaying the feature that they’re now begging and hoping for?
...What says they have to if they have partners doing it for them?
The point is that the Switch is already part of the cloud gaming market in Japan because of Ubitus who also happens to be based in Japan along with their infrastructure.
But why the idea that Nintendo has to create their own? Particularly knowing they partnered with a company that’s doing exactly what this story says Nintendo won’t. They do via a partner.
That’s a good deal too but options aren’t bad. Particularly if someone values the upgrades enough.
“Both Odyssey and Resident Evil 7 run on Taiwanese company Ubitus’ GameCloud streaming technology; Ubitus has been around in Japan for a while, originally launching a cloud version of Dreamcast classic Sonic Adventure for NTT Docomo in 2011.”
Nintendo and Ubitus are partners as evidenced by Nintendo itself even before the launch of the Switch.
@Shikoku: Most of what was said isn’t an assertion and is backed by this very story. Further the ESA is providing the statistics.
Yeah, like GTA being on mobile too. Along with titles like Fortnite, mobile variations of CoD, Mortal Kombat, and of course “remote play” being available on mobile devices as well.
To stick with the idea that all mobile has is Candy Crush clones is disingenuous to say the least. But it’s pretty obvious to see how individuals here want to downplay.
Google Stadia and other services going to mobile also shows that more companies are moving to a market where ...
...Doesn’t it already for some games that it’s not capable of running on a physical level?

So in other words yes.
Don’t get your panties into a twist because you argue for less bare bones and more story driven content while ironically arguing here, half assed at that, why Dragon Ball should be bare bones and not story driven.
Ironically also if it doesn’t have a place and people don’t want it please excuse the apparent ignorance as to why it fits in the show.
...None of this was said today and another interview with more details is not present.
The title is pure clickbait as zero of the information in the story is actually new. The story links to numerous other outlets as well and reuses their stories, presenting it as a current Verge story which no part of it is exclusive to Verge while Verge did not do the interviews or any snippets even.
Even the description is all stuff that was listed before both here on ...
