Why does everyone keep bringing up pre-alpha as its going to look 1000% times better. Sorry folks the E3 trailer that many of you touted as full in game is a cut scene at BEST. And if you think the vast majority of the assets seen in this most recent trailer are going to get better some how, you're high. I'm not a developer but name the last game that looked better at launch than it did at a big event trailer (this close to launch).

After the E3 trailer people were acting as if that was in game. People now all of a sudden act as if they knew it wasn't all along. Great looking game but people are really forgiving for some reason
Before you hit disagree look at the articles on this site about the E3 teaser, people were sure that was full in game.

The 3 biggest X1 games of this fall all received very high praise from critics and gamers alike. THATS why it sold so well. When you consider what was being done by Sony during November the X1 was at BEST $50 cheaper. No one buys a system they don't want over one they do for $65. It just goes to show you the power the X1 exclusives.
Man people are really calm on this thread. Sony made it seem like a new game was coming, and it was all a trick. Thank you MS for not doing this as the PS4 fanboys would roast you over a fire if you did something like this.
You are 100% right. This would be completely unacceptable if it came a month early on the X1. Though from comments on this site and around the web the X1 fanbase seems to be more mature.

That's not true the attach rate which is what I believe you are referring to is about equal for both systems.
MOre PS4's are in the wild and as such more units of a particular game have been sold. But the likelihood that an owner of either console buys a game is about the same.

That's crazy to me a comment about video games causes you to laugh uncontrollably. Resolution is only one aspect of what these next gen consoles can do. You know what's kind of funny is Alien Isolation kind of reminds me of a next gen dead space. So it makes me that much more excited for the next gen version.
You know guys we are missing what I think is the best game of the year so far; Alien Isolation. It had a few minor bugs, but CA put a ton of love into that game and it shows. While you wait for games to be fixed, pick that up, you won't be disappointed.

You can tell your a fanboy because what you're saying is just plain wrong. If anything the X1 has taken a franchise and a developer from Sony and it's only been out a year. While in the mean time Sony has been making statements about how we should expect less aaa games from them. What's MS saying "we're just getting started.
Without the game division MS will never get the box underneath peoples TVs. So in fact the gaming division has become even more important.
