I've been trying really hard to hold out on buying a game this month as November is so crazy. I cant do it anymore. Should I get Alien, or Shadow of Mordor?
I haven't played Titanfall much recently but man when I do its a very intense experience. I'm on the edge of my seat the entire time. While its bare bones no doubt, few games offer that level of fast paced intense action.
I love how people try and act like games aren't moving to a more always online future. I mean the biggest game of the year (and one of the most expensive EVER at $500 million) is an always online. While most games aren't going to be ALWAYS online many if not most will offer some sort of online component. So far this gen we have Titanfall, Destiny, Evolve, Fable Legends, and The Division. I love all the hate in this article. That's the sales for the first week! Not including digital. What I hope is DC sells better. I'm serious so all the fanboys can rave about how well it sold. You're referring to the multi layer discs I believe? They may not be economical. Or those deeper layers may read slower.
The thing is these indie developers aren't business people (for the most part) so they don't really understand what and what not to say, or how to say it. It was most likely a perfectly relaxed conversation. But when they said that the interviewer knew this would be a perfect article/headline for N4G. Haha
How about you give money to the people that deserve it. You know the people that made it. You do Realize that GameStop doesn't make anything right? That giving them money is akin to saying I don't believe developers deserve the $$ for their hard work.
No I know all you care about is saving $20, forget making sure there are as many game studios as possible to make games so we can have diversity.
The game looks like it's shaping up to be very good. But all this over hype for every PS4 game only serves to hurt people's expectations. Right now I have a feeling if you ask people what this is going to receive MANY people will not only guess 9.5+ but call it GOTY.

I don't know if anyone has ever disagreed with that. More pixels is more pixels. The numbers don't lie. But is all the uproar over the difference between 1080p and up scaled 900p worth it?
My favorite thing on this subject was the comparison between AC:BF. It was a zoomed in shot of the guys pants and that oscillated quickly back and forth. If that's what it takes to see the difference. Its not worth the craziness that surrounds the subject.
GRAPHICS have always mattered. Resolution doesn't always matter especially if a higher resolution is achieved at the cost of gameplay, or other graphical effects such as AA.
Only Sony can have a sense of humor. When MS does it, it gets an article on N4G. And 2000 comments on how mean they are to people.
Don't waste your breath. He/she is going to hate and probably not buy the game. The best part is that's his loss not ours. Can't wait to play this game.

The question Septic, what if it is 900p on the PS4? What if Bioware comes out and says "its because its the best for the game we made" . The answer; the majority of the PS community will claim that Bioware were paid off by MS.
No proof is necessary. Anytime anything happens that the PS4 community doesn't like its never the PS4's fault, its everyone else's fault.

Keep fighting the good fight. But you have to remember that Sony can do no wrong. If a game is 1080p its because the PS4 is a beast, most powerful computer ever etc, But if it cant do 1080p its MS, Ubisoft, EA, President Obama, ISIS fault. It couldn't possibly be that 1080p was not doable on the PS4 in that particular games case.
