I'm sorry that you feel that way. However, there have been sales from Nintendo for their first party games, and you just missed a pretty good e3 sale for the eShop that was still up until about a week ago. Splatoon 2, BotW, Fire Emblem Warriors were all discounted around 30%. FIFA was like 70-80% off, same with NBA 2k18 as were the WWE games (though I wouldn't recommend getting those). Of course a bunch of indies were on sale too.

Todd actually said that it was the different ways the PS3 and 360 handled memory usage. The 360 had 512mb of unified RAM when the PS3 had 256MB of main XDR RAM for the system, and then another 256mb of embedded VRAM. Not only are the RAM pools split, but they are completely different types of RAM. I don't think he ever just blamed it on the cell processor, though it was well documented that the cell processor was more complex to develop for. Especially early in the generation.

I don't really care if this person doesn't think it's game of the year material. I still have it pre-ordered and I'm still going to enjoy the heck out of it.

"Ok, how about this comparison ? Why people didn’t complain about Breath of The Wild season pass which you have to buy hard mode behind the paywall ? Horizon Zero Dawn have dlc which is expansive pack and it’s worth more than BOTW season pass. Also, GG give players ultra hard mode for free."

And the Horizon DLC was appropriately rated higher than both Zelda DLC's. Also, people did complain about hard mode. Not sure what you are goin...

They are both worldwide.

Wow, people apparently had no clue what you were saying. As evident by the downvotes.

Maybe people don't understand that these are aligned launches.

They have been. Look at Arms and Splatoon. Monolith Software is working on a new IP as well.

"They have the ability to finally deliver a full fledged experience"

Which is coming next year.

Unless Sony allows backwards compatibility, downloading PS3 or PS2 games from the PSNow service isn't going to happen (on PS4, at least). In which case, the number of games that you are able to download will be drastically reduced.

The analogy is more like Hulu and Spotify would be blocking your account from being accessed on certain platforms just because you signed into a different platform. Which would indeed be shady. If I couldn't sign into my Netflix on Android just because I signed in on iOS before I'd probably cancel my subscription.

There are a lot of games from E3 that featured female protagonists, either your choice or preselected. Anthem, Gears 5, The Last of Us 2, Assassins Creed Odyssey, CyberPunk 2077, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Division 2, Battlefield V, Sea of Solitude, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Control, Resident Evil 2: Remake, Fallout 76, Overkills The Walking Dead, Rage 2, Octopath Traveler...looking at all those games I really don't think there is an issue with womens representa...

You are right, it's likely 720p in portable mode, but we can't say "of course it doesn't". There are a few instances of games on Switch's screen being super sampled from 1080p. Hyrule Warriors is one of them.

Looking at Metacritic, the Switch has had almost the exact same amount of releases that the PS4 has had so far this year. So games are releasing all the time for the Switch, just like they are for PS4.

How does cross-play adversely affect you if it were implemented?

I'm perfectly capable of having an intelligent conversation, but I'm not invested enough in the conversation to read a novel. Try to be more succinct and we can have a better conversation. Otherwise there will be a lot of people who lose interest.

Okay, I'm not going to read all of that. You've posted way too much for me to have a casual conversation about this.

You say the exact same thing in almost every single thread (I even see you in VGChartz threads), but what you don't understand is that the first weeks launch sales aren't the entire holiday supply. December and January are still part of the holiday season too and provide a big boost to hardware sales. You actually see this in the chart. Switch did great for it's first month but had a dramatic slowdown it's second month, meanwhile the PS4 continued selling in large numbers thro...

@ABizzel

It's very well documented that the most lucrative time to launch a console is near the holiday season (at least in western areas). This is why the Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox all launched around the same time in the year in North America.

If launching in March was as beneficial as you're trying to imply more console companies would launch their consoles in the western markets around then, yet they do...

This was the Wii's holiday season. Switch may close the gap again during it's holiday season.

Why should we read your whole comment history to get context for this specific comment?

Also, you're pretty hostile yourself bud.
