How do we know that this game isn't good though?
@Lighter9
I guess Sony doesn't do anything with Uncharted, Infamous, Killzone, or Horizon then because Sony "just owns" the companies that do, at least according to your logic. There is no reasoning with these guys because your post didn't contain reason.
Hence why I used the word "might".
Sooooo yea
I'm not going to buy every last version. I paid for it on my PS3 last generation, paid for it on my PS4 this generation, and I decided that portability is enough for me to buy it a third time. I'm not buying the VR edition, and if it comes out for next generation I'm not going to buy it again.
Also, I never said every last person who bought it last generation would buy it for Switch. I just said there might be more people that buy this that have played Skyrim b...
I've paid for Skyrim twice already, but I'm going to be buying and playing this version too. There might be a few more people in my position than you'd think.
Mario + Rabbids is a great single player game. There are some other games like Disgaea that you could always try out. There are also many games on the eShop you could try while you wait for a single player experience like Mario Odyssey.
The system is still new. It may take a while to develop an extensive library that you see on other consoles, but there are still things to play. My recommendation is to just experiment with some games you may not have looked at before.
Xbox also has crossplay with PC and Switch. It'd be nice if Xbox and PS4 both worked together too.
@CyberSentinel
Those deals are easier for Sony to obtain because they have a larger install base. Remember last generation when the 360 had those same deals? I'm sure MS isn't opposed to the idea of paying for market rights (they did with Battlefield 1), but many publishers simply don't want to give MS marketing rights because their system has a lower install base.
Not to mention, why do you care what costs Sony money? It seems like you are m...
I own a PS4 and I would love to play with all consoles.
Why is it great if Sony doesn't want to participate in giving the consumer a larger player base to play with?
I highly doubt that 64GB carts will take that long to be available, honestly. I believe that the 3DS's maximum cart size when it launched was 2GB, but was pushed up to 8GB long before the end of it's life. Hopefully the cost does come down soon though. The lower the cost the better for third parties and customers.

What proof is there that the PS4 is outselling the Switch worldwide every month?
@DVAcme
At a certain point, yes it will decrease. But there have been no signs that it has decreased. Refer to my other comment for direct proof which contradicts your claim. PS4 sales haven't gone down, they've gone up.
@colonelhugh
I'm perfectly capable of understanding market saturation, but the PS4 hasn't shown signs of hitting its limit. Quite the opposite in fact, the PS4's sales have been growing year over year.
I can provide numbers to prove this:
Between it's launch and the end of Q2 of 2014 the PS4 sold around 14 million units.
Between Q3 of 2014 and the end of Q2 2015 the PS4 sold around 16 million units
Between Q3 of...
@VarientAEC
It isn't "incapable". The Switch's cartridges have the capacity to carry more storage than the Wii U's discs did (25GB vs 32GB), and Nintendo is able to raise the maximum capacity of their flash storage medium like they did with the DS and 3DS. The difference has to do with cost. Some developers don't want to use the 32GB cartridges because it costs more than the 16, 8, 4, 2, or 1GB variants.
Why go into a rant about microSD cards when that isn't even the question he asked? He asked how much storage the cartridges themselves carried, and currently they only go up to 32GB. I think the smallest is 1GB.
@DVAcme
"You have to keep in mind, though, that PS4's current user base is so huge that pretty much anyone who was gonna get a PS4 already HAS a PS4."
If this was true then why is the PS4 still selling?
A lot of people have this same mindset. They think that if they and many people they know own a console then everyone must, but general consumers don't always purchase things so quickly. The PS2 was at 115 million in 2007, but st...
I'd rather Microsoft not buy Nintendo. Nintendo does well enough on their own.
Foxtrot, Guillemot is literally stating exactly what you are. He isn't saying Horizon and Zelda copied them 1:1. He is saying that they both used similar systems that Ubisoft is known for, but perfected them.
No, they've always been strict. Even when the Wii U was failing they were making some pretty controversial decisions regarding Youtube.
This decision probably stems more from issues regarding people like PewDiePie than it does the presumed cockiness surrounding their new console.
