@Darxyde and chevalier
Nintendo released a new console with great success and two of the highest rated games of the last twenty years with the console. Both of these games are extremely popular franchises worth getting excited about. They've created and launched several new IP's, kept 3DS support, reinvigorated Metroid, launching a new Pokemon game, and they've accumulated more third party support from very popular developers.
Going from grou...
I'm pretty sure he is the network manager. I doubt he would be trolling. If he was we would all be doomed lol.
Believe me, the bosses get better. I think after Deep Woods is when the bosses truly start to shine. Not the rabbits though...those ones are still a bit lame. Except the last fight with them.
I think he is referring to just games in general. His statement is true...it's possible, but I doubt it will happen. I'm still hyped for a lot of Playstation releases next year anyway.
In my opinion, this year was the year of Nintendo. Though next year will definitely be Playstation again. Ni No Kuni 2, Spiderman, and God of War are the titles I'm looking forward to the most next year, and that's including all releases on all platforms, not just exclusives.
Monster Hunter Worlds as well.
I think the easiest solution for Nintendo would be packaging the Switch with a 32 GB or 64 GB SD card. Not only are these cheap enough to manufacture, but it wouldn't require an entirely new revision of the product. The 3DS already comes with a 4GB SD Card, so it isn't like they haven't done this before.
Nintendo didn't sell us short on storage, but storage is a problem due to the nature of the Switch. You can't include a hard drive with the system, as it would make it much less portable . The flash carts are the best way to stay away from mandatory installs, but they are also expensive and publishers don't want to use the maximum cart size due to minimizing profits.
Just like with power, this is one of those compromises due to the Switch's portability.
I don't think you understood what he said.
You know, it was released for PS4 and Xbox One just a year ago.
I don't think consoles typically get a pricedrop after the first year. Don't they usually just get cheaper bundles?
I think that might work in Nintendo's favor a bit more. They could also include an SD card for customers in the system. That would be cheaper than putting in more flash memory, I feel, and it would take care of the storage. In fact, that'd be a good bundle after its first year. Super Mario Odyssey + Switch + 32-64GB SD card for 300.
...
You're comparing the Switch quite heavily with stationary consoles. I can understand why you'd do this from a consumer perspective, but from an electronics perspective you really can't expect the same storage capabilities from the Switch as you can a stationary console like the PS4 or Xbox One.
That doesn't mean it's not inconvenient for people. You definitely touched on the third party issue quite clearly. Compromises will have to be made for the Switch...
I'd say that Super Mario Odyssey is better than all of those games. Though a case can be made for Super Mario Bros. 3 being better depending on how much you enjoy 2D style Mario games. SMB3 hasn't aged a bit!
@bouzebbal
It seems you are pretty butt-hurt yourself, bud.

What does your comment have to do with what badz149 said?
In my opinion, they should have made this a 20$ eShop title and announced the other two Metroid games along with it. This way it's more of a "here is something while you wait" instead of a "This is all you get right now".
Here are the games I'd like the "Switch treatment"
-F-Zero
-Star Fox (optional motion controls please)
-Mother
-Golden Sun
-Pikmin

"The 10/10 reviews are a bit of a joke to be honest it was very a very good game. But as I said had issues"
See, that's the thing. You think the 10/10 reviews are a joke. That's your opinion and it's valid. However, other peoples opinions are that the 7/10-8/10 reviews are a joke. Which are equally valid. It depends on peoples opinions of the product at hand. There are some framerate inconsistencies. For some people this is...
I saw Jim Sterlings video on the comments he received for that fake review...I didn't see any death threats. There were some stupid comments for sure though, and the people are still acting abhorrently.
@yeahokwhatever
You think that developers weren't inspired by Breath of the Wild and aren't going to be influenced by the game?

Why is Polygon a joke of a review site specifically?
I'm not trying to defend them. I don't really know Polygon so I'm curious.
