How nice of them releasing screenshots of the final UEF mission where you have to defend a Black Sun, a weapon that is used in the final cutscene to destroy the Aeon's and Cybran's planets, ensuring UEF victory.
There's a multiplayer open beta going on right now. I suggest you check it out.
moses, that's because you have dynamic lighting turned off. Dynamic lighting makes a night and day difference.
Online games don't use much bandwidth. The bandwidth used is primarily upload bandwidth to send info to the server or to other players and that's usually no more than, I'd guess, 15 KB/s. Down speed would probably be, on average, less.
...these screens are over a week old.
Nonetheless, they have me very excited. I still regularly play StarCraft: Brood War.
That's over 9,000 USD (yes, OVER 9,000!) in gold, for anybody wondering. (Rough estimate using IGXE.com's gold prices.)
Yeah, I do that all the time with my PC.
It works the same way as hooking up a console to a TV: just hook up one end of the cable to your videocard then the other side to your TV.
EDIT to above comment: Yes, I use HDMI cables. 10 feet long. And I use an Xbox 360 controller to play most of my games except for online shooters. It's a little uncomfortable to play on the coffee table, but I could easily remedy that by purchasing the Belkin n52te and building myself a...
I wish Blizzard would have removed the CD check sooner. And by sooner, I mean around half a decade ago. Blizzard "muted" my account because I used a no-CD crack. :(
Oh well. Better late than never.
The leaked trailer looked pretty cool, and I love the gameplay of Tribes. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one.
Then it's just more unoptimized Ubisoft trash.
I've lost all respect for this company.
It's only been 2 months since it was released...
Looks awesome.
The GameTrailers Crysis review was done on medium settings on an Intel Core 2 Duo (forgot which model), an NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS, and 2GB of RAM at, I think, 1280x720 resolution. (This machine would be placed around the low-end of the mid-range spectrum.)
This doesn't seem like it'd be of much use unless you have a devkit.
The Cell processor lectures and papers, at least.
Crytek have said that they had to not include some features and levels in the game because of time restraints, so these could be screens of some levels originally intended to be in Crysis, but had to be put on the backburner, and possibly be included in Crysis 2. And it seems that Crytek have updated their engine to support more realistic 3D water, for example, the waves hitting the shoreline.
I don't see why not. All you're doing is having your PS3 display video information being gathered from your PC.
He knows how to play the guitar.
Thid-person shooter.
Age of Chivalry is fun, but I prefer Pirates, Vikings, and Knights II.
Yes, StarCraft 2 will be the better game, but Supreme Commander is still an excellent game. It's probably going to be too complex for console controls, however, and the slow and strategic gameplay will likely cause it to not sell well at retail.
