The JPEG compression is horrible. :(
It ruins the otherwise great pictures.
Perhaps Intel will be using Project Offset to tout Larabee.
Because it is.
This game looks nice.
I've never played Boiling Point, but I believe it was a sort of cult classic. I think it's an FPSRPG, sort of like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but set in more of a GTA/Just Cause-like world.
The water looked pretty horrible. Other than that, the rest of the features shown look pretty good. I'm still not a fan of the engine, though.

2007's best RPG just got better.
Call of Duty 4 is actually based somewhat off of the Quake 3 engine.
Rumored to be releasing March 11.
Halo Wars at #10? From what we've seen of it so far, it looks horrible. It looks like a poor Command & Conquer clone but with Halo characters.
The retail copy differs from the review copy in the case of Lost Odyssey.
In the case of Lair, however, the retail copy was the same as the review copy. GameSpot doesn't do re-reviews for patches, and no reviewer should.
I can't wait to build a creature with both a vagina AND a penis, as well as four asses and sixteen breasts!
Competitive players in most games play with the graphics settings toned down so that things like special effects don't distract them when they're trying to kill their enemy.
