This game is pathetic and embarrassing at the same time, seeing as how it came from the creators of Hitman.

HD content is often larger than 2GB.
720p TV shows are around 1GB+ or so but 720p films are around 7GB+.
It really opened me up to the cornucopia of various writing styles that exist out there among game reviewers.
Looks like I better start saving. My 7900GT (close to a 2 year old card) is starting to show its age. Plays all the modern games just fine, but struggles a bit with maxed out settings at 1680x1050.
The MMOG market is crowded enough as it is.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s rendition looks better, in my opinion.
This is only if you want to run the game at 1920x1200 at the absolute maxed out settings, which will be considered top-of-the-line graphics for around two years. Crysis actually runs quite well on mid-range hardware, such as the 7900GT.

Actually, there are some 1080p native games. I believe Virtua Tennis 3 is rendered natively in 1080p, as well as an EA sports game.
