Same here. Enjoying it quite a bit up until the open world segment. The open world was wholly unnecessary.
@Sugar
What are you smoking? Halo open world is one of the best for you??? Better than witcher? Wow
Now I have finally heard it all. Forgive me but ill take any other open world over Halo's wasteland. Heck even ubisoft open worlds are better. All we got in halo is camp after camp after camp of the same exact enemeies and environments over and over and over again. Oh and no set piece moments either like in most other open world games.
So story and open world design is not important to you?
It's kinda funny how devs that always made games for one platform are now multiplat....and devs that used to be mutliplat are now exclusive. The back and forth is ridiculous.
@ninver
Rockstar and cdprojekt don't have amazing track records.
CD project only ever made witcher and rockstar has maybe 3 IP under their belt.
The campaign is a bit of a bore. Im going around having fun but then I realize....whats the point? I could have the same fun if not more doing the multiplayer. Im playing campaign for story but theres not much depth here.
Yes gameplay is king but at the end of the day the campaign is uninspired. While it gets a 10/10 on gameplay it gets something like a 6/10 for campaign story and atmosphere. It reminds me of the first halo but then I remember than the first halo was more interesting as it was the first time we got an fps like it.
Depends on what kind of changes are made in this sequel. Could be really great but I agree I'd lilove a QB2 Just like I'd love a Ryse 2 but....fat chance.
Well you must not have been listening or reading the lore in the game.
QB has a tremendous amount of sequel content.
Not much in the way if gameplay.....so shouldn't really be called a gameplay trailer.
Wow
Well if this doesn't look like something you'd want to play not sure any game can reach your standards.
Very few compared to the overall. And my point is that the campaign aspects of the reviews are pretty mediocre. Of
First year of the console was great indeed.
Demons souls remake is an impressive achievement and the game itself the forerunner to the souls genre.
Ratchet and clank is an improvement to the previous and amazing to look at.
Returnal is my game of the year and one of my favourite sci Fi games to date. Soma and this are my 2 favourite.
Getting 3 great exclusives is a first for any console launch in recent memory
I suspect many reviewers gave this game a high score because of the mutliplayer
The single player itself seems to be not as great. At least stroywise.
And actually 2021 wasn't when demons souls remake released. That was 2020 the same year as tlou2 I think
Uhuh...let's just pretend it's the same with Sonya IP. Yes they released miles morales...number 2 in the series. Demon souls remake....the game that started the souls genre.
And this year yes a new IP called returnal and another iteration of ratchet and clank...the last one being from quite a while ago and phenomenally received as a platformer...if which there are really few great ones left. And yes next year we will get the 2nd iteration of hoirOn...yes only #2. An...
So a slight change in asset quality somehow makes the series is more powerful?
Microsoft is taking advantage of you...just accept it. The series S is weaker in every aspect except the SSD. And slightly the CPU. Just slightly. Most games focus on vram now so it doesn't matter much.
Xbox hasnt done anything that they haven't done in years past. We got halo and Forza.....AGAIN. age of empires is nothing. It ain't even making waves. Shameful for such a huge IP.
And even with what's coming next it's more of the same successful IP's except for like Avowed and starfield. 2 titles that were pretty much bought with $$$
In the meantime we get a kickass remake and 2 great titles from Sony, one of which is a new IP. Along w...
Yeah...great scores overall...mostly due to the multiplayer being good. Single player is universally average. I like halo for single player so unfortunately it'll be an average halo for me most likely.
3/5 is what I'd give the game so far and I'm about 50% or more done with it.
Sure the gameplay is amazing but that's about the only thing that really jumps and is awesome the whole time.
Sound is whatever. Even though the score is great it doesn't necessarily stick out during gameplay. I've only ever noticed it during exploration when you reach a Vista.
Open world itself is quite mediocre. And the story so far is als...
