Yeah I'm aware...and in fact pretty excited for crossfire x from remedy.
Stalker 2 I believe is multiplatform no? Pretty sure.
Not too familiar with the others but my comment was regarding the video. Pretty sure both consoles will have more titles releasing than what's on the video.
Most likely...especially the ones with only a release window.
So when is aid large balls I was referring to switching up the formula of a beloved and successful franchise from slightly overtop camera view point and action driven to a much more personal 3rdperson story and action game.
So j guess if you think 3rd person is over done I wonder what you'll think of all of those upcoming Xbox games which will either be 3rd person or 1st person.
And when I was talking about god of war you then bring up all these older...
Definitely a year full of worthy titles.
Kinda going to be similar to this year in terms of exclusives I think. It wasn't until halfway through the video more or less that we got to see an Xbox console exclusive. By then we had already seen 3 PlayStation exclusives/console exclusives.
Forbidden west/for spoken/gt7 and then finally redfall and then starfield in November.
I'm hoping for path of exile 2 or diablo 3 to release next...
Minecraft released in 2011 and Fortnite in 2017.
Okay so I guess you need a slight spanking.
2020 had ghost of Tsushima and tlou2 which is the 2nd game in an IP. If you're under the impression that successful IP's shouldn't have sequels well Im curious what you think of halo, gears, Forza etc.
They also had a remake of the genre defining game from PS3....PS3....many many years ago. Which also many did not play. It's a fitting remaster that frankly brings that game into current gen in a w...
Like what games?
1 new IP last year and another new IP this year and a sequel to a new IP next year. Along with 1 remaster last year 1 sequel to a successful new IP last year and a sequel to a successful platformer this year....
So tell me...where are those re-releases and only remasters.
I second this. Can't wait for these 2 titles. If a timsepsitters true remake or sequel was announced that would make this my favourite gen in a while.
Platform did not get complacent though. PlayStation has been giving new IP and games nonstop every year. That's not complacent.
The difference here is that Xbox took out their wallet and bought out a bunch of popular IP and talented devs.
At least take appropriate educated jabs. God of war was rebooted and is not anything like the previous god of wars. To pretend that it's just another sequel like most other IP's is being dishonest. Then you have forbidden west which is a 2nd entry In a successful new IP. And to think that they won't have more than that is quite silly.
But also...I have a strong feeling starfield will be delayed. Red fall I am very curious about due to the devs involved. Same wi...
Well I hope that by then the elder scrolls Skyrim will have been fixed on the Xbox app...still broken and has been since the beginning.
I'm hoping they make it into a different type of game...but I'm a sucker for zombie games and horror in one. The initial trailer made it seem like it could be that.
Greatness awaits...and it always arrives and awaits again. Great thing about the PlayStation.
Or maybe they simply didn't nail it. I was satisfied but they still didn't nail it. Great first attempt.
Or do you think they nailed it simply because YOU were satisfied?
More and more indie titles seem vastly more inspired than triple A games.
One of these I might make the shift to buying only indies...or at least have them be like 80% of my game purchases.
I expect great things from Xbox. They up and bought out tons of studios with pre existing talent and successful IP. If they can't give great things after that then all hope is lost for that Xbox comeback.
I'm personally really interested in Avowed and fable.
Finally a decent list!
It would have been pretty stupid not to include psychonauts or ratchet...I do believe Psychonauts is the greater platformer as it is more of a platformer. Didnt even like it but im glad its getting the recognition as a platformer.
Wow. I felt the exact opposite. Gameplay was vastly different with the traversal gadgets and such. I was glad because I wasnt too excited for more of the same.
@Smash
You don't have to. But it's painfully obvious that they should be considered as no thought was given to them in 2020. And theres a nice group making it seem like in a year there's been very little when there's actually been quite a bit on the PlayStation.
Amid evil....isn't that already released...feel like I've played it in switch or somewhere.
