@orchard

But that makes no logical sense. First it's not my fault Ms decided to release a weaker console at the beginning of a new gen. And second it makes no sense because if you want better fidelity and frames then you go PC.

That way you get the best if both worlds. Gamepass plus mouse and keyboard for strategy and rpg top down games.

Big difference between the standard and mid gen refresh. They didn't launch at the same time.

This gen MS decided to release the next gen console along with a last gen console.

They don't give the breakdown because they don't want you knowing.

Really doesn't matter much. since all the games this gen will run on both. There's literally no reason to get a series x for someone using gamepass. 300 vs 500 is a no brainer for me if i use gamepass only.

I guess the supposed outselling playstation last month was either a fluke or not entirely true. They did change the metric so...hmm

Amazing that Sony already managed 10million within it's first year and during a pandemic and refusal to sell in stores.

There are some months when Sony adds additional games out of the blue. Hope this will be such a month cuz I'm not interested in any of these titles.

But I heard Sony doesn't like indies...
Hmm maybe this means I shouldn't believe everything written and said by a few individuals and consider it Gospel.

But they don't need dedicated studios. They can be revived through a solid remaster.

Capcom has done it with RE2 and Sony does it with shadow of the colossus, medieval, demon souls, etc.

Bluepoint didn't...doesn't...bel ong to Sony either. They outsource their exclusives to them.

MS coulda done something similar this whole time. It's partnerships...that thing they claimed to have but I've yet to see.

Big win?

Im excited for this as well. And like you I'll be playing it on game pass. Will likely feel a bit guilty since I won't actually be paying anytbing

Hate to break it to loyal fans but if they do head in this direction it is quite possible that we begin to see exclusives becoming not exclusive within a year or 2 of release...you can pretend that's not a big deal but if you have the patience for it then you won't need a playstation console.

Consoles will still sell because it is the most straightforward method of playing games.

Price wise they're also more accessible.

Nah man. Ps5 is going fuRTHEr BeYONd!

(Super Saiyan 3 reference)

It's not just the looks that changed but also the feeling when playing

Was able to snag one for myself and another for a friend in the latest GameStop drop.

Edit: i got mine the drop before the latest one.

Why don't they get a dev to remaster or remake whichever means a complete renewal of the game.

This is what I like about what Sony does with older titles. Really think MS could do the same with the fable franchise. I know they did something with the 1st game but they could do all three.

Same with the original perfect dark. I mean seriously people would eat this up

1634d ago 0 agree7 disagreeView comment

Hope they stick with the horror of the original...that's enough of a surprise mechanic for me.

1634d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes I agree.

Jedi fallen order was after 2 horrible battlefront games.

And squadrons was after the success of fallen order.

But I can't help but think that these games were small titles for EA. That they didn't risk too much knowing they wouldn't be able to monetize...still they have been good recent titles.

I mean if I throw logic and math out the window and go purely with media coverage on the topic sure...all devs are happy.

Never thought that spending $1 on a devs newly released game would be a cause for praise from the devs but...we do live in strange times.

Mind you I'm only playing games i would have played anyways...i don't just play games on the service because theyre there.

If it doesn't have a world map it would not really be following the original. Big open world is a Hallmark of final fantasy games.

Getting it right will be a challenge but the 1st part was pretty well done.

27 new titles?

I'm all for new games and getting them in a cheap service but...for the price of 1 game i can get to play and beat half of those. Perhaps more depending on their length.

I fail to see how that is a good thing for the devs that worked hard on these games.

1634d ago 9 agree9 disagreeView comment

Havent touched the game but might look into it now.

For me it was less of selling point and more of a short lived relief. Its good to know that certain crap wont be in a game that didnt have it to begin with.

If anything it is more of an acknowledgement that gamers as whole dislike these kinds of things...otherwise it would never pass as a "selling point"
SO in essence. EA is admitting that this stuff is bad and unwanted.
