Well we all know Sony is the only ones actually doing good remakes....along with a few other devs on occasion. Seems more like a jab article than honesty.
We're getting more than just high quality remakes after all.

Well...I wouldn't go comparing halo to cod or battlefield and think it's a big deal that it's better than those.... Those iterations have been stale for a long time. At this point they're just selling the brand name. Halo is headed in that direction unless the single player campaign is awesome.
Lots of people are paying $1 or no $$$ for gamepass games like halo (once it fully releases). So based on that the $1 isn't so bad.
The blame is consoles. PC was just fine.

This is one of those games where the hype generated by media and fans...running loose with their imaginations...created an impossible game. Especially considering last gen consoles and just the overall lack of gameplay. With every new gameplay video shown there were more and more features removed.
I expected a story driven rpg ala the Witcher. Got just that. Others expected some kind of huge ass rpg action game with never before seen mechanics and gameplay....which is a fin...
So my 2 issues are the ranked games and paywall for customization.
Was playing ranked open for a while and everything was fine. Decided to go for the solo/duo and 1/3 games someone leaves and it turns to 3v4 sometimes even 2/4

Not really. Depends on the weapon and your accuracy. It's not cod so skill does trump twitch shooting.

Yeah i got the 1 flag capture AND the 20 flag capture. I'm wondering if I finish all other challenges if the swapping challenge item will give me a completely new random challenge. Gonna try that since it took me forever for the 1 capture. Nearly got it several times but then would get killed right at the end and another teammate would get the capture even though u took it all the way to our base. Progression and unlocks are part of the mp experience. It's also what shows how experienced you are in the game and usually can be a mark of how good you are.
To say they don't affect the fun of a mp game is nonsense. The customization is also the endgame in many mutliplayer games so to claim it's not part of the enjoyment is flat out false.

It may not be "broken" but having to get 20 flag captures is the most time consuming shit I've seen in a challenge yet.
Forces me to play a mode I don't particularly enjoy and in top of that fighting with teammates to be 5he ones scoring the flag capture. That's a dumb dumb challenge
Yeah but when I compare a Sony exclusive to something like NBA it's really not a good comparison. One reeks of quality and passion and pro consumerism. I expect the same from Microsoft exclusives and especially from a big name like halo. Why would I even compare it with NBA...if I must then that's not a good sign.
Um...this is when Xbox finally get something big....PlayStation has had several really big hits already this year....with more bigger hits coming next year while Xbox hasn't got much and whatever it will get, most will be thanks to Bethesda and other recently bought studios for IP that used to be multiplatform.
