It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

This is the problem with fanboys like you posting when you have nothing but hatred to spread and arguments to start.

You won't get confirmation from them because this is what MS said on the subject:

"Microsoft has said from day one that developers have full control over how they want to use the new 4K-ready Xbox One X (aka "Project Scorpio"). I re-iterated the point days ago by reminding everyone the Xbox One X won't play every single game in native 4K at a "rock solid" 60FPS. Every game is different, every engine is different, and every developer is tryin...

So you guys will damn MS for forcing Rare to make Kinect games or for allowing Rare the freedom of choice to do it? In spite of the fact that MS actually gives their studios freedom of choice (like they also did with The Coalition) I find that you guys still talk trash about how MS never allows studios to do what they want. This is the problem with fanboys like you posting when you have nothing but hatred to spread and arguments to start.

You guys don't care what MS...

Agreed. The DC controller had a lot of potential but its' biggest problem was the angle of the handles putting my wrists into an uncomfortable position. I loved the idea of the VMU, and I'm actually surprised no one has tried to replicate that. Just imagine replacing the PS4 touchpad with a touchscreen though!

Love your reply to Foxtrot: "I dont know who in the hell thought it was a good idea to assign rare of all teams to the Kinect"

Right, because you're ignorant and don't really care, otherwise it's common knowledge:

You really aren't that smart. The majority of the games out on the 1X crush the Pro variant unless DEVS DON'T BOTHER TO USE IT. A grandma driving a Ferrari to the grocery store doesn't make the car less powerful; it makes grandma look foolish for not putting it to use. You arguing about it makes you look foolish.

Besides, you see "virtually" no difference? I show you ACTUAL difference and you start talking about a handful of lazy devs to justify yo...

...And the disagrees to my op just shows how stupid a majority of the people are around here, and the fact that Age isn't labeled inappropriate is just another testament to the incompetence of the mods at N4G to actually enforce the rules.

This place is a cesspool and N4G supports it.

I think you need to take the PSVR off and come back to the real world:

Optical drive: Blu-ray vs. UHD Blu-ray
Memory: 8GB GDDR5 vs. 12GB GDDR5
Memory bandwidth: 218 GB/s vs. 326 GB/s
CPU: eight Jaguar Cores(2.1 GHz) vs. eight custom "Jaguar-evolved" cores (2.3GHz)
GPU: 36 CUs (911Mhz) vs. 40 CUs (1,172Mhz)
Teraflops: 4.2TF vs. 6TF

Make.believe what you want, but you're so far off it'...

@ Unreal01

What do you expect somebody to say in response to an even more short sighted and needlessly rude comment? Maybe if people like Age in the Cage didn't start, others wouldn't be inclined to retort. People like you and Age either need to stay out or be respectful when you post, then none of us would have to deal with this in the first place.

I bet that Xbox is going to do it too with the DXR API.

Poor Bioware... *Sad Trombone*

If it does come out it will be Dragon Ass, just like mASS Effect: Andromeda was.

You are 100% correct, sir! (Unfortunately)

@ the Jackal

And XB1 has a really competent upscaler to do "1080p". Neither implementation, yours example or mine, is native.

Besides new peripherals to play with, there's practically nothing in terms of gameplay that couldn't also have been done on a last gen console. IMO, graphics look better but that's about it. Gameplay innovations will happen again as physics moves into the spotlight though and again as self-aware AI with speech synthesis becomes feasible.

Rare plans to keep supporting the game as long as people keep playing it so the amount of concurrent players is at least as important to it's success as the amount of sales. This, IMO, is true because the more content Rare adds the more players will want to return to play. So players may stop playing, then start up again when there's new stuff to do; and this cycle could continue to evolve the game for many years so long as player counts stay up (which don't require sales). ...

Interesting read, Tyler!

From the article: "I’ve been waiting a year for this day and the shit storm that would hit once everyone realised they had been sold half a game."

This guy was chomping at the bit to trash the company! That said, the Goonies thing did sound pretty awesome and it would be great if SoT started an overarching story like that introduced as the game matures.

Truth is though, we don't know how fast R...

Don't even bother to try anymore. Most people didn't listen to a word Rare said about their plans for the game at launch and beyond, and that includes the majority of the reviewers. The beta would not have been successful if the game's core was not entertaining.

At least Rare was open about everything. SoT will be fine because every time they add something new the game becomes more interesting. Rare said their approach was to contin...

Thank you UC Force. I know exactly what you mean because you spoke with respect and explained yourself. I admit that Sea of Thieves isn't as content rich as some people would like at launch, but Rare was candid about the experience players could expect and their plans for the future. Additionally, SoT was playable for how long as a beta? ...and people still loved the beta. In light of that, I feel that people are overreacting to the obvious because we've all known about the game f...

To top it all off, Epic is calling this their "Next Generation" demo, so this type of lighting rendering will be upon us within the next few years. I can only hops that recent advances in physics simulation will come along for the ride too, because that will open up tons of new gameplay possibilities!.
