One of the Far Cry Expansions is going to be a Starship Troopers themed Sci-Fi spin-off.
TBH, Far Cry Arcade is the real reason I want this game though. Don't get me wrong because I think the campaign will be tons of fun too, but I'm in love with the map editors in Far Cry.

Okay, I got it now. You can't back up your stance because you're full of it (as usual).

It seems that the game was not ready enough to launch, but close enough to where they just chose not to delay it any longer. Hopefully this patch means that the game will be getting some content updates soon.
Good Ideas! I hope Rare puts a story arc into the game, even if it's episodic, that fits the Goonies theme the former Rare employee was talking about. It sounded charming in that old-school Rare sort of way.
I have to wonder how much stuff is going on in that simply didn't meet the release window. 4 years is an awfully long time for what we've been given at launch though. Who knows... maybe they did spend two years modeling a ship but at this point only time ...
Skynet?

Agreed. The SP part of the game was always about chaos first and story second. The development of CD3's single player after the MP is testament to that and I don't believe that the story structure will be too different from the other games, but I suppose anything can happen.

Only die hard fans I see bashing anything right now though are the ones who can't even play Crackdown 3 because they favor the o...
Looks really good! MP is back but still no race mode? Sad panda. The new single player stuff I'm stoked to get into though! There are over 9000 items and objects in Far Cry Arcade with more to be added as DLC is released.
Yeeeeessssssss!!!!!!!!

Why would being able to rent SoT for a month for $10 make day one sales BETTER? Even if those renters do enjoy it they still wouldn't have to buy it at all if they stick with Game Pass for a while. At the bare minimum though a subscriber still wouldn't buy it until next month when their Game Pass ran out.
The fact that SoT sold that well in spite of the Game Pass deal (and nasty reviews) is surprising.
People from DICE, as well as MGSV are working in hand with the new studio too, and I agree they will turn out a great game.
Better question: How do you "not" use new studios you haven't acquired?
Right, because listening to player feedback is soooooo out of touch with the gamer! Rare even said before launch that the updates would be based off of community feedback which is why they are listening to them now.
Games require studios to make them. Can 343, Turn 10, The Coalition, and Rare possibly keep up with Sony's or Nintendo's output?
They should acquire Playground and Undead Labs for sure though.
"In yet another tweet, Phil Spencer responded to a fan saying that the game lacks mechanical depth, saying that it’s been done to make sure the game is accessible to a larger crowd with more focus on social aspects, and that both Microsoft and Rare have plans to build on the concept later on in the future."
So there you have it Phil literally admitted that MS made the core gameplay simple to attract more social players at the beginning and will continue to add to...
Looks like they slid their AO content right in the back door!
