It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.
CRank: 5Score: 80470

Yeah, sure it wouldn't. That's why Sony was only able to duct tape two GPU's together while MS "reacted" by building an entirely new and custom architecture. Nevermind the fact that the prototyping was already far enough along that they could show the architecture off in the video reveal.

If you really want to talk about leaks and knee jerk reactions though, talk about how Sony found out that MS was putting 8gb of memory into the XB1 and quickly inst...

Articles like this don't do anybody any good (except perhaps fanboys who need another article to hate in).

The add-ons to story and gameplay are all free. Wonder no more.

Fundamental: a central or primary rule or principle on which something is based.
Ancillary: providing necessary support to the primary activities or operation of an organization, institution, industry, or system.

You are talking about ancillary elements, not fundamentals, when you talk about variety. The quote I pulled even mentions the fundamentals, as described by Rare. No one here is arguing that variety is sparse, just that your grasp of the meaning of fund...

“Following concerns over Sea of Thieves’ lack of content, and worries for the game’s future, Rare today released a video detailing Sea of Thieves’s upcoming content updates, major and minor. And they’re exactly what the game needs.”

Really? It wasn't "following concerns" of anybody who'd paid attention. The plan all along was to make sure the fundamentals are right and then introduce new content.

I remember this from February:

Yeah, I was too. If you haven't yet, you should check out Starbound since it's very similar to Terraria overall.

@ Bhai

Good. Go play your PS4, enjoy the games it has and don't be dumb enough to call someone else dumb for not sharing the same tastes in gaming as you. I like what Xbox offers better than PS... It's my choice. I prefer the controller, the services, and the company too. Again, my choice. I can respect that you and most others
like PS better, yet it doesn't bother me that my choice isn't most popular. It bothers me that people like you feel th...

But the people they pissed off generally just troll the N4G forums and don't own an XB1 in the first place.

@RPG Sama

Rare told us this is how the game would be at launch weeks before its release, along with plans to release a steady stream of content after launch, and a desire to listen to fan feedback. It's hard to imagine a company being more transparent about their product that that.

PS: The add ons are free, so there's no money to be made off of them.

How's PSVR doing? Another in a long line of broken promises of greatness and support for the costly side projects they always abandon. And you guys fall for it every time.

Next is try reading his tweet, where Phil specifically highlighted the need for single player experiences:

You're assuming there's success in VR's future at all. I heard nothing but hype about VR when it was in development, but now that it's out I barely hear anything. Seems like VR's success is virtually nonexistent at this point. I'm not saying some people don't absolutely love it, but it doesn't seem to be marketable to the masses in it's current state.

Besides that, I agree with Crazy Coconuts that MS needs to focus on quantity and dive...

Tell me, where else in media does someone say, "that's old, who cares!" to a classic?

The Beatles, Elvis, Led Zepplin, Tupac, Johnny Cash... Who cares, I've got new music to listen to!
Wizard of Oz, Casablanca, The Warriors, Alien, Star Wars... Who cares, I've got new movies to watch!

Literature, transportation, architecture, paintings, sculpture, cuisine; Virtually everything has defining moments which are valued long afte...

I see what you mean:
"The game runs at 1080p and between 45/60 frames per second on PlayStation 4 Pro. That’s a huge difference with Xbox One X that we don’t quite see in every game. Do you believe it’s due to your own technology or there’s just that much of a gap in horsepower between the two consoles?

The biggest gap in horsepower comes in GPU performance both between PS4 and PS4 Pro, and Xbox One and Xbox One X. This means that for a title without enhanceme...

The Playground Games open world RPG has teams associated with games like The Witcher and Hellblade (and other devs from GTA, Battlefield, and Metal Gear too), so while I agreed with you because that it is something MS has been lacking for a while, they may not be for too much longer with a team like this involved in their new project.

Whether it's like God of War or not, the important thing is that it at least appears to be a story-driven open world RPG (probably Fable)...

I can't understand the mentality of some people who think that playing something old is a bad idea. It's like saying that A Fistful of Dollars shouldn't be watched anymore because I can watch The Unforgiven instead. Why even agree with the notion of instead in the first place?

Besides that, plenty of old games are classics whose uniqueness never got duplicated, like Jade Empire. Having one place to play them all is a phenomenal value, and you're right in ...
