Because they have done that already with every other Call of Duty that comes out. At least if this gets remade, COD fans can play a good COD game instead of a reworked cash cow. Even Madden is more innovative.
Love the DX12 comment. He says companies don't want to show real performance gains out of fear it'll be called marketing fluff. Anandtech's PC benchmarks showed around a 500% increase over DX11, which he sites in the interview.
In a previous interview Brad said he thought the DDR3 in XB1 would be bottleneck for the system, but admitted that he didn't know how much since he didn't know everything about how the system was designed. Even if XB1 only sees ...
I like how honest he is about their mistakes and their desire to focus on the gamer. It's also nice to see that he appreciates innovation and praises the competition for its efforts and successes. It looks like MS is finally on track towards greatness with Phil at the helm.
Surprise! A guy on the payroll endorses the game. Too bad every time it gets shown it loooks more flawed.
I was just messing around. There hasn't been serious karting in many games.
Where's the beach? I thought Pamela would be running from David in slow motion. Game looks great anyways!
Where are the floating boxes with power ups in them?
Notice how they're all sequels? Where's the innovation? 10 year old processing and a foot wide controller don't cut it. Besides, I don't wan't the same thing over and over, I wan't to see new games.
Funny how it's okay for you to bash XB1 today, but not okay for someone to show how similar the current state of XB1 resembles that of PS3 from last gen. His statement was unbiased, unlike your angry rant.
Oh, and Titanfall was only on one console by necessity, since at the time Respawn only had enough staff to make the game for one console. In his most recent interview, Zampella even said that in hindsight he chose the wrong console due to PS4's larger install base....
Some really cool update functions for sure, great job Sony! I wonder how button assignments work - does it remap the UI or games or both? As a XB1 owner, I hope to see this function at some point since a lot of times button configurations can be frustrating.
Steam Machines... Proudly made in Cleaveland. ;D
I'm not a fanboy, I like new technology. I think Mr. X is full of himself too.
While I do appreciate a good debate, your anti MS rhetoric is pervasive and ignores the reasons I gave as to why games looked so bad on XB1. I didn't say PS4 wouldn't improve as you made it sound. Furthermore, I never said DX12 would improve XB1's DDR3. Then you want to preach about comparing games made with an api XB1 was never designed to run. Finally, praising the PS4's...
Open world free roam and deathmatch.
Not to mention advanced speech synthesis and voice recognition software. It will be cool when it happens though... in like 20 years.
Of course it is. We've seen video of it running on console and it looks horrible, from both a graphics and physics standpoint.
One of the performance specs cars may list is a power to weight ratio. Power is only one spec on a game system, but how do you measure the weight of an api? XB1 has already had a number of updates to optimize DX11, which it was never designed to run, but how much more weight will be shed when the api switches to DX12? Effeciency is as important as power as 360 proved last gen. Why is it that GDDR5 is labelled as graphics memory, and not used in a CPU ram slot? Look it up and you'll se...
@MrPumblecock
Respawn initially said the reason Titanfall was exclusive was that the studio was too small to make it multiplatform, and they wanted to focus on making the game as good as possible on one console. They even said they wanted the game to be on all consoles at that time. It was Respawn's choice, not EA's.
At least it's not interactive porn:
Rapes Lara Croft, Achievement Unlocked!
Cash Cow. Mooooooo!!!
Dunno. The app was advertised on my home page when I booted up today.
