I don't see how it's possible to release PS4 Neo at $400 when a gtx970 is still north of $300. With an upgraded CPU and GPU, the Neo would be at least $500 to $600 in today's market (depending upon if Sony wants to break even of earn a profit).

You forget that MS already stated that they opened up XBL to cross play between consoles and the option was ready for any developer who wanted to take advantage of the feature. It was Sony who fumbled around with ambiguous statements when pressed for information... something ambiguous about how they'll have to investigate things on a case by case basis.

Gamestop knows they're in hot water when it comes to the physical vs. digital games market. So they start traading in phones, selling phone plans, and making games to try and keep themselves from becoming the next Blockbuster video. And they treat their brick and mortar employees like slaves. I don't know what happened, they used to be a good company(like 6-7 years ago).
Sure, the headset itself is barely passable at this point but what about the interaction with the environment? I mean seriously, Sony is still using a stick with a glowing ball on the end of it! We need to have a meaningful way to interact with our environment that makes the world virtual, not just gimmicky motion controls with gimmicky head tracking and 3D or VR gaming will fail too.
Really, Dice? PS4 should be 1080p with XB1 at 900p. I sincerely hope this is just because it's in beta, but after some of the other Dice games like Battlefront released like this I have my doubts.
