It's not rocket science, Chris. Sony is coming out with a mid gen console 3 years after the PS4 released. MS is coming out with another console 4 years after the XB1 released. I just compared them to one another without specs. If your point was about specs, maybe you should have clarified what you were referring to in your post.
To be fair about this, Starchild didn't mention anything about specs in his post and didn't say, "...the EXACT same thing......
I agree with you guys for the most part, but even Dice has admitted that their games aren't fully comitted to DX12 yet, and that they are eager to leave the DX11 generation behind because of all the new features they can use once they switch. DX12 on XB1 may not have the same impact as on a PC but it will ultimately allow for any game to be made for both platforms with a minimal amount of effort, which should make more companies interested in porting games over to XB1.
They stay juicy that way.
Nothing new here, guys, MS already talked about the fact that some games are designed to work well with a controller may not come to PC or vice versa.
Fixed.
Hate to tell you, Chris, but Sony CONFIRMED NEO before E3, and even mentioned in a more recent interview that the Neo will be the last PS4 console before they move on. It is not all rumor and speculation as you claim.
They should use DOAX's tanning tech for this game. I want a farmers tan!

I could look back at my mistakes and say they weren't a good idea either. That's easy. The hard part is making a prediction about the future come true, and Nintendo has failed at that ever since the N64. Don't mention the Wii as a success either, because even a broken clock is right twice a day. The Wii was an accident.
New experience = not traditional = failure
Funny how you don't know what you are talking about. Sony wanted to have the rights to any game made for the SNES add on, "Play Station". Nintendo told them to take a hike, and Sony took their work on the Play Station and finished it, that's all. Sony was a controlling company with ulterior motives then, and they still are. Worst four letter word in the world is SONY.
Oh yeah, that's the Explicit Multi Adapter. This article is talking about refinements to it to make it easier for devs to implement. At this stage, EMA would be the best way to go too, since both card manufacturers are missing hardware to run full DX12. With EMA treating any two cards as one big card, it automaically assigns code to the places it will be processed best. In a mixed card example, AMD would get the FL12.0 coding, Nvidia would get the 12.1 coding, and the rest of the codin...
Hey, quit discriminating against pot smokers. There are plenty of people who act like they're high without ever using drugs, and plenty of drug users smarter than most anybody on the planet.
Except that it's the author who says, "push existing owners to upgrade", not MS. In the article, MS talks about partnering with retailers who offer trade-ins in order to help people who want to upgrade. That happens even when a slim model releases. Besides, MS has also said that there will be no exclusives for Scorpio so the upgrade is in no way forced on anybody except for perhaps VR enthusiasts. It is interesting that he called it a generational bump though because it corro...
MS has 15 unannounced games in development. They chose not to reveal them at E3, just like Sony chose not to reveal the Neo.
If they take the good talent from Lionhead, I think they'll fit right in with Rare. Rare and Lionhead shared a lot of the same sense of whimsey and charm in their game styles.
Problem I had with Story Mode was that people who bought the season pass like my son did with his own Christmas money last year, paid for 5 episodes but ended up with a 4 episode story, and waited forever for the last episode which ended up being teaser episode for the next 3 episodes of paid DLC. My son, who's 6, was really upset that he has to pay extra to finish the game he'd bought, and I'm upset that I have to pay for it because my son doesn't deserve to get screwed out ...
But Nintendo did things like sued Blockbuster for photocopying instruction manuals, and sued the Turbo Graphix 16 for false advertisement because it was actually two 8 bit processors in parallel(and more importantly, because it was a real threat to Nintendo's market dominance).
It surprises me to think that no one has thought of this before. There are many people who appreciate being able to represent themselves the way they are in real life, and that includes people who need a wheelchair for mobility. Keep the updates coming, MS!
Um, didn't Sony just admit that there's not much left in terms of performance for the PS4? You could say Sony is in a rush to release Neo a full year ahead of Scorpio because of a financial need to stay on top, coupled with dwindling power reserves in the PS4.
I agree with you, Errorist. Sony does have enough upcoming events for the reveal, but it is the timing of the events that calls a holiday 2016 release into question. It's weird that they admitted that it exists, but wait until after MS drops the specs of Scorpio, due out holiday 2017, to reveal anything else. It's also weird that they have no software to show just 4-5 months from its' anticipated release window.
Agreed. I was glad that I played Limbo for free, it was only good for the achievements and a few of the puzzles.

Kinect set records with its sales on 360. Wii set records with its sales as well. Neither were any good, so who cares about this news? People were just curious, but it doesn't mean they liked it.
