Mixdup has got it right.
What about the likes of Apple, or Google, or Sony? There are many companies that use their weight to try to monopolize. This has nothing to do with fanboys because it's about economics.
Since we're talking about video game companies though, let's look at Sony. Historically, they try repeatedly to control the distribution of media through Beta, Minidisc, SACD, Memory Pro, Blu Ray, etc. They also designed their TV...
We're not talking about crossfire/SLI though. We're talking about the DX12 solution, Explicit Multi Adapter. EMA sees any two cards as a single unit with a single memory pool. Its many advantages over Crossfire/SLI allow it to make use of multiple cards with much greater efficiency over other methods. An expansion bay can easily be added to the architecture of the Scorpio, and the console can be made in advance to accomodate the heat generated by a second card. This scenario, whi...
King Thrash, the door swings both ways. If you think that MS will showcase it's games on Scorpio but Sony won't showcase on Neo, you're going to be disappointed. I can only hope that developers are nice enough to show what the games look like on both the original consoles and the upgraded ones. That way we can see for ourselves what the difference is... and it may even encourage people to upgrade!
It would be best for everybody if they were all honest with ...
It sounds like some sort of crowd AI program to make the grandstand fighting more lifelike.
MS has invested in Kinect, which has been used and modified by many people for things outside of gaming like remote surgery and ghost hunting. They are investing in Hololens, a self contained, portable AR headset. They are investing in Irides, a Cloud based HMD augmentation program. They invested in Illumiroom, a full room visual projector to make your media display on more than just your TV (even though that failed to launch). They are investing in the UWP.
Alternativel...
That's what happens when things are randomly generated. Things appear to be more random at first, but they are still confined to the art assets in the game. Borderlands, for example, has "17 Bazillion guns" but how many off them are truly unique? You get the same exact gun over and over but with slightly different specs each time.
Mad Ryan, why you mad, bro?
MS has more than a dozen unannounced titles in development right now, and unless it's a VR title, it won't be a Scorpio exclusive. Would you like to explain how XB1 is dead?
I would like to formally apologize, Chris, for the public attack on your character. There are proper channels of communicaton that need to be followed if I disagree with being labelled inappropriate, and my outburst was uncalled for. Thank you for understanding that my first post was not actually off topic, and I will certainly PM you in the future if I have any issues about the quality of my posts.
I am sorry for insinuating that you use your rank on this site to get awa...
Why does that suck for XB1 owners? I'd rather see games that I'll actually play soon instead of games like Crackdown 3, FF7, Shenmue 3, Last Guardian, Kingdom Hearts 3, etc., that have in some cases been announced more than a decade ago.
Besides, MS already has more than a dozen unannounced games in development. We know the games are coming so there's no need to spoil everything by revealing too much too soon, which is something I think MS has learned with Cra...
Yeah, me too. Why would they change the dynamic of the entire single player campaign on the Scorpio? The whole campaign would have to be rewritten in order to accomodate the destruction.
Ignorance at its finest. MS already talked about having more than a dozen unannounced games in development after E3. Let me guess a little about you though, you think it's okay that Sony announced that Neo was real before E3 but showed nothing(not even a spec) even though Neo is supposed to release at the end of the year, right?
It takes a cunning linguist to describe this in great detail.
Geez, i totally skimmed the headline. It seems obvious now, but that was my bad. Glad to hear it was my mistake though, rather than the alternative of 720p/30. Thanks for the correction!
Come on, Dice. This is your engine, yet you can't make your games run past 900p on consoles and now you're not sure if you can hit 60fps either? 720p/30 is a ridiculous notion for this generation of consoles, period.
Chris, it is possible. It's simply a more powerful Xbox One.
•Scorpio has been talked about by MS as part of the Xbox One family of consoles, so it's not the Xbox Two.
•It's also kind of hard to call a system with nearly five times more processing power a .5 console, or an incremental upgrade.
You got it twisted. BC is strong. The fact that Red Dead is seeing so much traffic right now is a testament to the power of classic games on new consoles. Sounds to me like the one "having problems handling the load" right now is you. You're just jelly...
Cammy can't be anatomically correct, but my daughter can watch her favorite recording artists perform onstage in lingerie at the music awards or see a "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl... yeah, that makes sense. Thanks, SJW's, for tackling the important issues first like nipples under clothing in video games instead of addressing the countless ways famous women can exploit their own sexuality to get ahead in life just by dressing like whores. My children are way...
Funny how we get all of these no more consoles rumors when people said that XB1 and PS4 were underpowered during their reveals. It'll be at least 20 years before we see games that look like today's CG being produced on a console. Finding Dory looked amazing!
Metal Gear Pachinko FTW!!!
