Read into things and it all becomes clear.
They WANT their games to be perfect, and they talk about their desire to have perfection all the time. The problem is that none of their games are even close to perfect, and they are usually talking about their WANTS in retrospect because they're in the midst of apologizing for another release blunder.
Yeah, I'd heard that before from Bethesda as well as again today. It's pretty obvious that they would continue to work on a game they'd used to get their engine running on current gen hardware. It's just cheaper.

It doesn't matter if there aren't any games supporting HDR "at this time" because the XB1S still supports it, and that alone makes my statement stand up to scrutiny. Besides that, as games come out that offer support for Neo and Scorpio I have no doubts that HDR will be adopted rather quickly by developers.
Wow, Activision even plagerizes PR talk now. I just heard the same thing from EA about the Battlefield/Titanfall games a few days ago.
Best 4K player for the money, and for games it's the cheapest way to get HDR in upscaled 4K. For anyone new to XB1 it is an awesome value, but for current XB1 owners I think the wait for Scorpio makes more sense.

The XB1 controller is actually smaller than a 360 controller so...
Okay, I can understand a preference of PS4 controller over an XB1 controller since you may prefer the symmetrical stick layout or like the touchpad, etc., but a Gamecube controller??? Strange button shapes and placements and a small stub for the second stick put it low on my list personally.
I still prefer the XB1 controller. I love the rumble in the triggers in games like Forza and the ergonomics work best for my play style.
Any one of more than a dozen unannounced games can be revealed.
Announced games like Crackdown 3 can be shown more as well.

Somebody who knows what's up around here. The series is going nowhere near it's roots and definitely killed itself, spiritually speaking, with everything from 4 on up. It's kind of sad.

The real question is even if a company could, why would they not implement change within their brand to try to get into the mindset of their fanbase? Nintendo just doesn't understand anything besides their own intentions, and their successes seem to be made up mostly of happy accidents.
With a large PC market in the west and Win 10 supporting both the PC and console gaming space as one development platform, I'm sure their market will grow quite nicely.
There's only one important takeaway from all of this nonsense you guys are all arguing about:
MS used to be closed to the idea of crossplay when they were winning the "console war" last gen, and now that Sony is winning it's them who are being stubborn about it. Both companies are arrogant when they are winning.
Yeah, I remember how exciting it was to hear about the add-ons Banjo Tooie, Luigi 64, and F-Zero with its course editor. It would have been interesting, but it was a wise decision to cancel its release in the states considering the success of add-ons in general.
It's ultimately the developers' choice whether or not to do native 4K. Since Scorpio is 4.5x more powerful than XB1, and AMD has confirmed that it takes less than 4x more power to render 4K, it is entirely possible to do 4K if most of Scorpios' extra power is dedicated to resolution over pixel quality.
