I haven't purchased a used game for years. The reason I did so wasn't to save money it was because I couldn't buy it new at the time.
But this doesn't mean I want my freedom to choose removed just because corporate wants more profit.

If the environment and game characters are anything close to their Xcom TV sponsoring programme then it could be a great game.
Much like Far Cry 3 yet the multiplayer side was broken from day 1 and is still broken today. Same for the comms not working too.

Hmm.. well I chose the PS3 simply because it had interesting games that weren't on my PC but that doesn't mean I think it's the best console and the 360 is the worst.
For pure gaming I actually think the 360 is the best from a graphical, multiplayer and comms experience.
That said Ubisoft is showing that all platforms can be broken equally!!!

Irrespective of the map quality, I didn't go with the PS3 Season pass version simply because I'm not prepared to pay £10 more than for other formats.

I'm not sure why so many feel the Wii U will be directly competing with the next Sony/MS consoles.
The most likely scenario is it will end up being at a much lower, more affordable price bracket by comparison and still take the " children/family" entertainment segment over the gamers segment.
When mums start buying Sony/MS consoles for themselves like they bought Wii's then maybe Nintendo will have to rethink their strategy.
I really don't understand why PS3 CoD chat system always defaults to everybody on which then requires muting then somebody enters lobby so mute button again... and again, and again.
It would make so much more common sense to just default to chat off then unmute ppl you want to talk too.
