Apologies you're quite right, my mistake! Don't know why but I was thinking of the Canadian race ooops!!
But I do remember Button chose a high downforce setup for Monza which was considered quite a different approach.
Low downforce track? Did you not watch Jenson Button win over Vettel for what most think was his best race ever... with a high downforce setup.
The old interface was infinitely better - talk about if it works.. then break it!!
It's quite mind boggling how the devs behind the current PSN store mess can consider this anything near acceptable.
Of course as the PS4 is PC based it's quite possible there will be an influx of PC race games like Simbin's free-to-play RaceRoom and many others.
I think this has more to do with European law that allows the gamer to sell his games whether boxed or digital as with these online passes you cannot sell your game complete (as entitled).
I'm quite sure EA already has an even more frustrating and gamer costly solution ready.
"So question is do people have to pay for multiple PSN+ aka for PS3 and PS4 (100usd a year) I think this really needs to be clarified."
My concern too. my annual PSN+ ends in September and I do have a another 1yr code but I'm hanging off from using it as if it's no use for PS4 I may as well sell it.
Likely get DriveClub then PS4 GT6 when it's released - suspect there will be a PS4 Grid 2 variant out not to far from PS4 launch too :)
Yup, no doubt in my mind!
Got it - fantastic strategy game with an interface that works very well on PS3
Does the iPhone/iPad need EA - NO, and it's become home to the many independent devs.
If the Wii U gets shunned by the big publishers then all Nintendo has to do is make Wii U dev kits available to all and the Indie and home programmers create the games and utilities.
(like in the days of Atari 8bit/ST, Spectrums, C64/Amiga's etc).
What an ignorant comment. Most "good" devs likely started as Indie and if anything it's Indie devs that are progressive and inventive while the large publishers are stale offering much the same time after time.
Sure there are some low quality Indie games out there but most of the big franchises like C&C, BF, Civ, UT, Quake etc etc started as Indie.
It's not all about games either, some of the game mods completely changed the host game's popularity an...
A PC version of Battlefield with full size maps and 64 players online. GT..x number :) as I'll need my racing feed!
What's the point of upgrading to a PS4 if it doesn't have the games though.
Same here too. I'd buy it if I knew it would work on PS4 (or some kind of upgrade package) otherwise it's a waste of money as there's now not too long to go till the PS4.
Of course we could all be wrong and they're going to announce a GT5 F1 expansion with all the F1 tracks :)
I would think just having GT6 on PS3 and nothing ready for the release of PS4 would be a really bad decision.
I'll be wanting a PS4 around release time BUT it does have to have the titles I'll be playing most or what's the point.
OK so when you buy your NOT brand new house I trust you will be ok paying the seller AND the original builder too as you're saying it's fine for a game.
It also follows then that a patent no longer have a limited life and you should pay extra fee from an invention developed hundreds of years ago i.e. you buy a toaster and there's a fee for the invention of electricity etc etc.. you could just keep going with this absolute always active ownership model.
If...
RTCW SP and MP was fantastic, ET was and still is a very popular online game. 2009 Wolfenstein was odd.
Always thought Turning Point: Fall of Liberty story line would have been another great Wolfenstein game (alternate universe with Hitler winning) but actual gameplay was utterly crap.
Will be interesting to see which path they take for the next version
I haven't read anywhere that gives full details how the screen capture will actually work on the PS4 as yet but the PS3 does have a screen capture facility built in but it rarely gets used as the devs decide if it's going to work or not.
This much the same as MS's attitude that because an interface works on a mobile phone you have have it on a desktop PC as well so the user can view a 24" screen full of fingerprints!
There has been quite a few articles regarding the failings of the Wii U but it's nothing to this Xbox 1.
Even the design is something out of the 80's commercial PC market (reminds me of early 10/20mb hard drive enclosures) rather than of today's modern consumer techn...
