In BF1942 expansion "Secret Weapons" you could use jetpacks :)

It looks so much like BF2142!!

The motherships were called the Titans and the titans in Titanfall were called Walkers - which looked like they'd been ripped from Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun.

Played them on the PC - really good quality games!

It would be a Dirt game with a few cars BUT you can buy loads of overpriced DLC car packs for multiplayer use.
BUT they only work if everyone has all the exact same combination DLC packs.

When Codemasters was sold to Bollywood quality and customer support ended in favour of con the customer.

1 - it's on the PC
2 - the 1st RDR goes on the PC (and even PS4/X1) as this type of game would be fantastic in high image quality.

Its an irrelevant comment as he's referring to todays technology.

So it gets a label and therefore it's all ok?
The only thing this will be used for is to conn the consumer by plastering award logos over game boxes, web pages etc to give credit to something that's NOT FINISHED - not even beta tested!!!

Creditable awards that could be offered and have value would be letting gamers / playtesters give their views

Great, winning loads of awards for an unreleased, unfinished game.

Just devalues game awards!

and the cost of hardware will keep going down too as new more advanced PC hardware is released.

Also PC games aren't restricted to a time period ie. you bought a game last year on PS3 and the image quality is tied to the hardware but on the PC a game 15yrs old or more can not just be still played but image quality will likely be improved whether it's just better fps for smoother gameplay, using better enhanced anti aliasing, higher resolutions to users adding hi res ...

Yeah all those Infocom, Synapse etc text adventures and just add speech with speech recognition or speech with a controller or keyboard overlay for blind.

But the real future of gaming for the blind has to be using surround sound audio to create a virtual world.
I'm sure you could play an fps game blind if the right sound production was used, I remember BattleZone sound would get louder and turn from a blip sound to a continuous note when the target was on it. Cod...

True but the difference is in the percentages: for over 6 months Black ops 2's typical online count was over 700,000 but in Ghosts it's rarely 200,000

It's the multi-player that needs fixing!. PS3 online leaderboard lists over 35,000 cheat players - there's only between 100,000 - 200,000 players online!!

The spawning is atrocious, spawned in front of an enemy and been immediately fragged so many times in the game.

They also need to get rid, reset all the hackers, I gave up counting the amount of hackers on the PS3 online player leaderboard after 25,000

It's surprising just how many ppl started learning to program at various levels just because it was easily accessible.

I'm referring to a time past when the gamer had a home computer, Sinclair ZX81/Spectrum, Atari 800/Xe/ST, Commodore Vic20/64/Amiga (and many more).
The hardware architecture was open, there's were books readily available and best of all, magazines with game and app code listings that were typed in - and could be modified/experimented on. ...

I did enjoy Uncharted but could have done without some of the screen tearing that used to occur on some of the faster moving sections.

Irrespective of what PC hardware can do this new generation of consoles should foremost offer no more non native modes so that means 1080p 60fps.
If there's an effect missing that's on the PC so what but just make sure the texture fidelity are sharp and clear.
Unless console gamers keep making a lot of noise about this I feel the PS4 and X1 will go exactly the way the PS3 did with most multiplatform games trying to emulate the PC effects at a cost of texture detail and...

I ordered the Freelancer ship back in Oct 2012 as I really enjoyed all his previous WC and Privateer games.

I thought it would just get enough funding for some kind of WC remake, never thought it would get anywhere near or anything like $37m - it's just astounding.
