Does anybody have access to the pleadings?!
Yeah, you have to be ready for Demon's Souls
Bethesda was "out lawyered" by Interplay.
Good for Interplay and their legal representation.
Anybody know the law firms involved?
Perhaps wait a bit then read the reviews on Ratchet and Clank.
Make a call from there.
I personally recommend Demon's Souls, but you know your own tastes.
I hated the art design of Killzone 2.
Give me lush green enviroments any day.
I don't think Killzone had the level of detail that Uncharted 2 has.
IM playing through again (when I can tear myself away from Demon's Souls...just effing awesome), and admiring the detail. Water in pools is suberb. Shadows when you are on rooftops on the ground. Looking out over Nepal.
All just excellent.
I love this game too, but Im not quite sure Demon's Souls is hands down the winner against all those games.
Oblivion has a wide open world idea. Demon's souls doesn't. Some people like just the walking around the open world.
Mass Effect (never played but heard) and a cool conversation wheel and a good story. Demon's souls, you don't speak and there is very little story. (But what you do have is kinda cool when you start getting an idea from the NPCs of what i...
Kimbo Slice: Isin't that tortise and the hare?
Perhaps the eyes are that way to get a more depressing feel.
That one trailer with the women and the gun was pretty good.
But I tend to agree that the faces in Uncharted 2 were excellent.
nycredude: Yeah, I guess you are right. Its not like you are going to walk into a BestBuy, look at the titles and pick Demon's Souls.(if they even have it)
That being said....It did make the best seller list in North American last week TWICE! For the Deluxe and the Standard version.
firelogic: Can you not get it from Amazon? Or some type of import site?
This game is so retro (in terms of difficulty) its fresh.
This game doesn'...
darkequitus: If you think this game is for you then I would move it up in your list, but hey... spend your dollars where you will get the most bang for your buck.
This score is probably about right for any people persuing the internet to get an idea of a game they want to buy.
In other words...this review is tailored to the causal gamer. A 4 is about right for that. This reviewer recognizes that a casual gamer not wanting to invest the time in this game will hate it with a passion.
This game is truely awesome for those it was targeting. I will go ahead and say it, but in my opinion (and I played both) I like Demon's Sou...
My goodness...this game will make plenty...PLENTY of money.
Perhaps people need to realize that Xbox owners that gobble up Halo like breakfast are different that Ps3 owners. In other words...Xboxers do the whole ZOMG!@! Lets buy the game at midnight! Whereas the Ps3 fanbase doesn't.
Or a better idea, who gives a sheet?!
Its a great game that I enjoyed throughly and am looking forward to a second play through in the upcoming weeks.
I will beat Demon's Souls however...Damn there is something about that gam...
Can't leave that damn game alone for a second. It picks on other games.
I caught myself doing the same thing (what would I do in Demon's Souls).
Not that Uncharted 2 is lacking in combat, it just limits you to play like it tells you to play. Shoot, throw grenade, cover...and dabble with some stealth and melee combat.
Demon's souls gives you a set of rules and then lets you tackle it however you see fit.
I finally read a revie...
I must have missed the point of this article..
When Valkyria Chronicles, LittleBigPlanet and Flower aren't on that list...they must have been looking for something different.
Perhaps he meant Art Design? Like characters and enviroments?
Agreed, shoot the the fog on the far left to get the first maneaters power down far enough for a one shot kill when walk through.
Take the second one on one. Makes this much more managable.
Either that, or blow the everliving eff out of them with the Wrath of God or Firestorm.
I still think the first strategy is the way to go.
Perhaps you are right frostypants.
Maybe we should leave it this way: it is targeted for a niche audience. I mean come on...Swords, armor, magic, a very european art design, difficulty that WILL require you to think, a game that WILL require hours and hours of gameplay.
That being said, maybe this is a niche title that others are trying out for the first time, or getting back to it after along time. Maybe atlus and from software underestimated the thirst for ...
Demon's Souls is on that list twice?! Haha kick ass.
Uncharted 2 is a masterpiece that breaks new ground in a cinematic experience for games.
All that being said....I still cannot get Demon's Souls out of my mind.
There is just something special about that game. It's hard to pinpoint. Uncharted 2 will have much broader appeal, but for me...Im going to go ahead and say this......I can't believe Im about to...I like Demon's Souls better.
This is true, and yet I can't quit playing Demon's Souls....
If Demon's souls strikes a chord with you, it will be your favorite of those games.
Pure Greatness.
