Demon's Souls is greatness.
Though you can swing through levels really fast on the second play through.

I'm not saying MGS4 is a bad game. It most certainly isin't, but as you mentioned it was very much for the fans. I was never really a fan of the MGS storyline anyway, I just liked the gameplay. But those cutscense to me were so brutal I haven't picked it up again after I beat it. But I know quality when I see it, and I know it is a masterpiece. Not everybody likes the classics right?

There are a few that might be in the same paragraph.
MGS4's cut scenes went on for ALOT longer than you remember. Some are over 30 minutes long. Uncharted 2 never had any that long from what I can remember.

I played Uncharted as a break from Demon's Souls...Both are freaking awesome and totally different.

In June I would have bought this game. In Oct. Nov. Dec. and early next year I wont.
My GOTY is Demon's Souls, but I do like Uncharted 2 a whole lot.
Both games are some of the best I've ever played.

What is interesting about this review and others is that because is such a cinematic experience its hard to review the fact it is a video game.

I really could care less about raw horse power with graphics.
If a game has a great art design, runs well, and is fun to play then sign me up.
For example, Demon's Souls. Graphically it is not a beast, but it has a good art design, animations are good, and its damn fun to play.
