Agreed...wholeheartedly agree.
I dabbled with the multiplayer but I just can't get into it. I don't like dying that much. Even the guys with over 15 kills a game get the axe at least 10 times....There are some exceptions, but not the rule.
This is true of every multiplayer I've ever played but of course changing the numbers ratio.
We all know Battletoads is only still talked about for that damn jet ski scene. Nobody has ever seen the rest of the game.
I haven't even heard of Cowboy Kid.
Im with ya on Dodge Ball...that game was super sweet.
I really enjoyed the game myself. For me personally, I liked it more than Uncharted 2. I could not get the game out of my head.
No its not impossible, as I heard it described before, it is strict.
Learn to play, learn to think and go slow then you will overcome.
Overconfidence and Stupidity will kill you every time.
Did anybody ever consider that the type of gamer as a general rule who bought a ps3 just didn't have a huge thing for the First Person Shooter?
If I had a thing for FPS, I would have bought an Xbox and Halo.
Thats exactly what we are doing.
Parapraxis: Enjoy the ride with Demon's Souls. Either you will do one of three things.
Play it, and not put it down till you have beat it at least once leaving your other games still in the plastic. This will be one of your favorite games this generation but you don't really know why...it just is. You can't get enough of the beat down, then ultimately the beat down you bestowe on other players and the NPC with careful leveling.
Play it, and not get past 1-1....
The question is OtherWhiteMeat, how many times?
The game is just beginning after your first play through.
Good call NaughtyDog...you guys give a sheet.
Is this game going to suck? I hope not...Any reviews yet?
Kakihara: Solid responses of course. But knowing a bit more about Drake and his relationship with Flynn would have been helpful. He wasn't a thief in the first Uncharted. He was in this one. Why? What happened? Did anything happen? How much different is Drake than Flynn other than him wanting to save people and the world? Do the means justify the ends? (If Naughty Dog was going for that ambiguity...and I think they were...they succeeded)
As for the Nazi dude...I meant...
That is probably about right in terms of a general rule for each console.
Each have their pros and cons.
Im a ps3 guy for the more "Art house" reason, but I can see the appeal for many with the XBOX and Wii.
We all have our own style, dislikes and likes.
Dude, hot pockets theme is out...What are you talking about?
Killer appetite?
Do they keep it light-hearted and funny or do they take it into a darker place?
If not for this IP, i would like to see Naughty Dog try and tackle more mature themes.
But exhilirating, no?
Looks great. Can't wait to play it.
I do understand some of his points and agree in part with a few.
The thing is, he is critzing like it is a movie and not a video game when it comes to the plot.
Why Flynn knows Drake would have been nice to know.
Why after about 1 scene of dialog we care so much about the nazi killer in the village. (I forgot his name)
Why does Flynn have such a thing for Chloe, and is that in fact his motivation for not outing her?
...
Im looking forward to it.
Bioware: We are actually not giving Ps3 oweners some crummy buggy multiplat of an Xbox PC game!
That would be pretty big. I really hope this game doesn't suck.
OtherWhiteMeat: Glad to hear you are enjoying the game.
Try not to get too frustrated with the combat in Uncharted 2. Its good dont get me wrong, but after the thought and time it takes to master Demon's Souls it feels very simplistic.
If you ever see Tex117 invading...you better get your shield up!
