They sure know how to talk the talk, let's see if they can deliver.
Either way, day one for me.
Skyrim for me.
Not that I even ever played a Modern Warfare.
Im curious to see how this title turns out.
I wouldn't say FFXIII is my favorite RPG or favorite FF, but it wasn't the worst.
If they put in a dark story (that you can actually follow), a few towns, and better pacing, then Ill most likely give this a whirl.
Seems like Neir is getting a small cult following nowadays.
The soundtrack is truly an accomplishment, story is japanese crazy, and there are some interesting gameplay elements.
For 10-15 bucks its worth a shot if you want something off the beaten path.
All the women own a Wii. That's obvious though the graphs
It was not the wort RPG to ever be created, geesh.
The combat wasn't button mashing if you bothered to play the whole game. The last part of the game, you had to constantly be thinking of the battle and not just "hitting x."
As for XIII-2, well, lets just see what they come up with it. I wont dismiss or accept this game.
Me2 is pretty light on the RPG elements, but Im enjoying the experience quite a bit.
Im sorry, but you have to hand it to the IGN dude. Though I dislike that IGN did the piece to begin with, that dude had the sand to stand up to a pornstar and talk about video games. Eeeek.
I do not agree with this guy's opinion at all.
Is he right a little on the gameplay? Yeah, maybe a little, but still, it was easily my GOTY and probably in my top 20 games of all time. (Been playing since the NES days)
List is false without FFVI or a Chrono Trigger on there.
Yes, and I love games that do not.
Demon's Souls is my game of the decade.
I didn't think FFXIII was the worst game to ever hit a console.
I'll give it a look, but if it is just the same game then no.
If its the same game but open...well...that may be worth a purchase.
Your avatar and name say it all.
I think another deathmatch is starting in like 3 min.
There was room for improvement in DA:O's combat, maybe Bioware improved and not dumbed down.
Neir is seriously one of the most Mis-Understood games of this generation.
I'm not saying that it should be GOTY or anything, but the story and soundtrack (for godsakes, especially the soundtrack) is worth the price of admission that is going for about 15 bucks right now.
If you pick it up thinking you are playing a quirky Japanese title from a very quirky developer, then you will be delightfully suprised. It isin't my favorite game ever, but I...
Im sure they will have someone cracking jokes.
I usually trust Gamespot's opinion over IGN.
That said RDR is freaking great, looking forward to playing ME2 next week.
Then, call me crazy, Two Worlds 2 is looking solid.
Darkfiber: That's a theory, but I highly doubt thats the case.
I doubt a developer/publisher would push a game claiming some lofty ambitions that is crap.
This looks better than Heavy Rain. Don't get me wrong, I liked Heavy Rain, but it played more like a modified point and click adventure.
The Noire style is freaking sweet...and really almost reason enough for me to buy it.
Its a purchase for me.
Reviews for this thing are all over the place.
I guess I'll wait a bit longer to see some other reviews come in the door.
Noteably, gamespot, they are pretty good in reviewing RPG's (except Neir).
